MOULE'S LAKE-VUE GLASS

Moule's Lake Vue Glass installed a glass shower, attached to the cultured marble shower wall in 2009.  Now, it turns out they did not install it correctly, because the weight of the glass door is pulling the marble wall away from the drywall behind it.  Evidently, it should have been drilled directly into a stud behind the wall to prevent this.  After repeated calls to 'Katherine" at their office, one person came out to look at it, was here less than 4 minutes, and said 'that's not our fault, it is the fault of the marble installer".  My husband spoke with someone else out from a cultured marble installation company, and he said the exact opposite, that the doors should have been attached to a wall stud, through the marble wall.  We then called Moule's again and again, and were told 'someone' would be contacting us, etc.  No one did, we kept calling and got the name of a person who was supposed to come out  on Friday, August 12, and never showed up.  After several more calls to Moule's, we were told, that 'there's nothing we can do".   This was a very frustrating experience--- they never intended to help us or make it right, yet they kept putting us off repeatedly.  If they didn't want to take responsibility, then it would have been better if they didn't keep us hanging for several weeks and just told us up front that they didn't want to be bothered.  This was very disappointing and now we have to hire someone else that will probably charge us a few hundred dollars for the repair.  As far as we are concerned,  we will NEVER recommend Moule's to anyone.  It's a shame too, because living in Orangevale, we take pride in trying to patronize the local businesses.
