Wow! Valentin and crew did such a great job, they delivered on everything they said they would and stayed in great communication when things did change. All I can say is I am already looking for more work for these guys. Trustworthy, accessible and man did they DELIVER!! Thanks guys!

Valentin is a trustworthy, honest, hardworking contractor.   He doesn't "sell" what you don't need or shouldn't do, and he makes ideas better.   His work is solid, his workers are diligent, his prices are amazing, and he stands behind his work.   He has extensive resources for any type of home or commercial project.

Enjoyed working with Valentin and the sub contractors he sent.  Very responsive to our needs and communicated clearly and often with my husband.  Kitchen looks beautiful and was completed in a timely manner.  We plan on calling him back when we are ready to remodel the master bath!

Razumovsky of Maxton Builders, gutted and rebuilt our kitchen according to our
desires, and at a cost that was very reasonable compared to other estimates we
had received.  If it took longer than we anticipated, it is in part because we took longer than expected to make up our
mind on colors and the choice of some material. Valentin was gracious and generous
in accepting the changes and modifications to our initial plan, including some
modifications that implied re-doing some work already done by him.  Some help in this phase of the process (i.e.
the guidance and advice of a designer) would have facilitated our choosing and
choices.  We view the result with complete satisfaction thanks to Valentin and his capable crews.

The plan was ok, the bid was detailed, but we were left wondering about colors, floor choices and other things,  WE went to Kitchen Mart and got a much better picture of the KItchen and color choices and a professional interior designer worked with us and gave us many more ideas.  The interior designer came to the house and took measurements and then developed the detailed plan that we felt comfortable with.

I took advantage of an Angie's List offer for a kitchen design consultation with Maxton Builders beginning in Sept 2013. Valentin Razumovsky arrived at my house as scheduled and we began are discussions about what I wanted accomplished. Valentin provided some links to the cabinet makers he uses and asked me to select a couple of different designs for him to give me a price quote on. A short time later we meet again to go over the proposed concept and his price quote. I liked the design and cost and we agreed to proceed with the remodel. Although it was a kitchen remodel it actually involved a large portion of the house with new matching flooring in the kitchen, family room, living room and hallway all with new baseboard and crown molding. The crew sent from Maxton Builders was very professional and courteous and always arrived when they said they would be there. Over the next few weeks my kitchen was completely demo'd and rebuilding process began. The crew worked steadily to rebuild my home to the new design. The quality of the cabinets was great as well as the granite counter top, which had to be manufactured from a large slab versus the prefab counter top material per Valentin's direction. The finished work looks outstanding and those who have come by to see it have commented how great the finished work looks. Throughout the process Valentin was extremely helpful with suggestions to places to shop and giving his opinion when asked which I found very useful. As with any remodel some issues did arise and when they did they were dealt with quickly and to my satisfaction. Having gone through the whole process from beginning to end with Maxton Builders, I would not hesitate to call on them again for any work on my home. The transformation of my home from before (late 70's) to after is amazing and I love looking at all of the finished work.

They came out and did measurements and presented some plans to me that looked really good. I like them, they came up with solutions to a couple of problems that I had, I haven't looked at them in great detail but I did like the plans for the kitchen. They were very good, the person they sent out is very courteous, very nice and very helpful.

I am a Real Estate broker and I personally flip properties.  I have used Maxton Builders for many projects.  As an investor I am always looking for a good combination of price, quality and speed.  I believe I found the perfect combination with Valentin and his team.  I have recommended him to other client and have only heard good things from them!!!  I highly recommend!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went fine. They came out and gave us a quote. We have another quote scheduled from another vendor just to check prices, but the person who came out from Maxton was very nice and seemed professional.

So skeptic is my middle name. I doubt everything and everyone. Especially the internet. I bought a house, did absolutely nothing to it before moving in, wondering how long I would last before it needed work. But surely, the time came and I had to remodel my house, there was no way around it. 
So I started doing my research. And my research I mean asking my friends who they had used and how they rated their quality and price. That was a dead end. My second course of action was the local newspapers, and ads. After calling around and meeting contractors and getting estimates, I was still not pleased. All their prices seemed WAY out of budget and their over confidence seemed a bit fake. 
My third and final course of action was the internet. Very hesitantly, I started clicking away, feeling very doubtful, I continued, til I ran across a website called AngiesList. After reading many reviews of different contractors and actually meeting some, I got to meet Valentin with Maxton Builders. Let me tell you, of all the men I met, I had yet to come across someone as real, honest and reliable as Valentin. I'm not kidding. This is me, a self proclaimed skeptic telling you this. 
Our first meeting, I told him what I wanted done,and some projects I was thinking about in the future, but couldn't just yet because of the estimated costs I'd been getting. He went through my whole list, gave me prices and an estimated finish date. The prices came in just under the median, but were low enough to where I could actually do a few extras I was thinking about for the future. I thought, and thought, and finally decided to go ahead with my remodel. He came the next day, we signed a contract and went over details. The VERY next day, he showed up with a crew of 4 other men and got straight to work! I cant even explain to you how fast they worked. I had never seen anything like it! Within the first day, all demo and clean up was finished! It was amazing! After that, the whole project seemed to go amazingly well. I got my whole remodel completed with my extras within my budget, and within the time frame Valentin gave me. 
Now I sit it my lovely new kitchen, typing this review, and smile. Yes, I've doubted, and resisted this thing they call the internet, but after such a pleasant experience, I do it much less now. And let me tell you one more thing, I will be calling Valentin with Maxton for my future remodels, and will definitely be recommending him to all my friends!

Valentin and his crew did a super job at a great price.  The workers were all polite and did great work. Valentin was always reachable via cell phone and was always super responsive.  Work included dealing with getting the permits and inspections completed, which wasn't always easy considering it was the City of Davis, but Valentin and company persevered. Overall it was a very good experience. And I would highly recommend Valentin. He's a very good worker, with a great personality, and is honest as the day is long.

I am very happy with the way things went. First off, I shopped around and got five bids. Innco beat the highest bid by a full 50% and bested the lowest bid by $20,000. So from the get go, I was able to stretch my dollars. Valentin runs the outfit, and he has a very able foremen named Victor Roman. They are much like the bow and the arrow. Valentin is young, capable, and very energetic and does very well organizing and running the company. Victor is the arrow. It seems like he can do anything from plumbing to framing, and he has hired a good set of workers in Adrian and Andre. Once he sets his sights on something, you can consider it accomplished. I have to say that when I chose Innco, people were telling me that I would regret it. They said things like: If they charge so little, they will use substandard materials. Another person said, "The trick is, they charge low now, but every time you make a change not on the original plans, they will own your wallet!" But I am happy to say that it hasn't been like that at all. The trusses were of the best quality, and I saw that in the roofing stage, maple and cedar were used in places were lesser woods could have been used. Every time I requested a change, if it cost Innco nothing to do it, they charged me nothing for it. Victor has made several recommendations on his own about things that could be done better or made to look better. And I have seen that he was right and agreed to the changes. And his reply, paraphrased with Romanian accent, is always the same, "I do it for free. It is easy to do." The only time I have been told something would add to my cost was when upgrades in materials were to be made or too many man hours extra would be required. I like the crew as well. They are friendly and helpful and fun to listen to. All of them speak a combination of Russian and English, and I get a big kick out of listening. I think that maybe Russian has only one volume...loud. Another positive about this experience is that these people really work. They usually leave between 5:30 and 6:30 PM, and they show up for work on weekends. If there is no rain, they are busy hammering away seven days a week. My neighbors have told me that they too are impressed by the work ethic.
