BOONE ROOFING

He was supposed to come on a Wednesday but he was in the area on Tuesday and came in then to fix it. I've not had a problem since he was here. I had him put a roof on a rental property I own several years ago and it was a very competitive bid and he was great.

It didn't go very well with Boone Roofing. After we bought the house and we contacted him to do the work, I never heard from him again. I had to get another price from someone else to fix all the broken tiles and it wound up a lot more than what he had quoted. He did an inspection and he did a proposal but when the time came to actually do the work, he never returned my call. He charged me for the inspection and also gave me a quote to do the work. I think that he led us to believe. I wouldn't want to use him and I would not recommend him. He was non-responsive when I wanted him to actually do the work. I don't understand what happened, he was willing to come out on a Saturday to do the inspection, that I appreciate but the inspection as it turned out was not very thorough and was not  accurate. It wasn't a very positive experience. His professionalism was not very good.

I’ve always been extremely happy with Boone. I’ve already recommended them to others, and will continue to do so!

Overall things went great. I was initially a little worried since their estimate (which the Realtor obtained) was $2,000 to 3,000 less than the other companies we called. However, in the end, I think I got more than I paid for. The work went smoothly, although some of the work crew were not very professional. While they were waiting for the felt paper they spray painted the new sheathing with some cartoons. Although the art was quickly covered up, it was a bit unusual. Once all the materials arrived things went quickly, although there was a bit of a delay on the custom flashing that went around the chimney. The owner was very professional and took the time to explain all the details and kept me up to date when the flashing was delayed.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY JOB THEY DID WAS SATISFACTORY. THEY DID EVERYTHING THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND MY ROOF IS HOLDING UP FINE. I THINK THAT THEY COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB CLEANING THE MESS.
