Mike Adray first came out to estimate the job. He was able to find the parts needed on his tablet. I gave him $100 to order parts, and in about a week the shop called to schedule a time to do the work. It only took an additional hour to complete the repair, for an additional $50. Everything went much better than expected!

They were great, finished it, cleaned up their mess, and they did everything on time they said they were going to. They were able to come first, called me back promptly and they were able to come out promptly. I would use them again in the future.

Dave was prompt, professional and polite at all times. He fussed and fiddled over the smallest details to make the repairs right, after a dishonest general contractor never completed, or did incorrectly. I was in the middle of a crazy busy schedule at work, trying to get my house ready for sale and Dave accommodated my schedule by coming on a holiday (Labor Day). I was grateful for his help and for his attention to detail. He will be my go-to handyman in my future home.

Mike Adray from VP Handyman came to our home and reviewed the damage. A section of wood fence on a slope in the rear yard was damaged by high winds. After the bid was submitted and accepted, a date was scheduled for the fence repair. The two man crew arrived on the scheduled date and time and completed the repairs in one day. All of the work was done professionally. I was pleased with the quality of the work and would not hesitate to use VP Handyman again.

There are times when one has to say something and this is one of those times. We went out to bid combining several small exterior renovations into a work package amounting to an estimated several thousand dollars of effort. VP Handyman, Inc. won the bid on several factors: (1) the superior, well-documented bid which demonstrated professionalism and a good understanding
of the work scope, (2) cost, of course, but that was not the only driver in our decision, (3) Mike Adray, the owner, was licensed and bonded, and (4) several favorable reviews from previous customers pushed us over the edge to select him.
His crew arrived on time and within a week or so completed the work scope. After we had a chance to look over their work in detail, we found some issues, some minor but also a significant, not to mention an annoying problem. Finally, we called Mr. Adray to let him know our issues. Without hesitation, he set a date with us to walk the job with him. He agreed that the issues needed correction. He said he would make arrangements in a few weeks to have a crew on site to fix the problems. Sure enough, his crew completed the fixes even to the extent where it was necessary to completely redo part of the project.
We are giving VP Handyman, Inc. an A-; the minus is because not having the issues in the first place would have been much better. Sometimes, you can tell more about a contractor when part of the job doesn’t go as planned and how they react to the adversity. Mr. Adray demonstrated integrity and a desire to leave a trail of satisfied customers in VP Handyman, Inc.’s history. We are one of those satisfied customers!

They did great, on time, professional. The boss comes out and stays with the quoted price. I will defiantly have them come back again in the future.

His name is Mike Adray and he is the contractor. I've used them before and his mother lives across the street from me. He has a really nice website and he is very well established. He has been in business for at least 20 years. He is dependable and he responds pretty quickly. He has different guys that do different things. He does huge remodeling jobs but no job is too small, which I appreciate. He has patched some holes in the roof for my mom and installed a water heater for her. He gives me bids. I haven’t compared his prices. I will use him again.
