We used Southern Counties Drywall to repair a ceiling damaged from a water leak. They showed up on time, did great prep work to capture any mess and left the area spotless. They did an outstanding job on the repair and gave me clear instructions about how long to wait until painting the area. I highly recommend them for any drywall issue you have!

Richard arrived on time and completed the job real quick. He did an excellent job trying to match the texture on the wall/ceiling. He completed in a few hours and did his best to keep the area clean. Highly recommend this company! :)

Roy met with me and gave me a satisfactory quote on a Saturday. Got the work started on the next Tuesday and was done by early Saturday that same week. Job included priming plaster ceiling, skim coating about 1100 sqft, and included a skip towel finish. I also had some spots on the walls of the bathroom and a third room smoothed over so that the wall looked very professional. Bernie was on site every day and did an exceptional job. Be sure to ask for him if you want a really great finished product.

Showed up on time and covered floors to keep them clean. Very happy.

It went really well. There is no way to take any points away on ratings for this company. They did A+ work from start to finish. Excellent work. The owner, Roy McDaniel, is highly professional, efficient and reliable, and comfortable to work with. His worker, Rich, followed suit. Rich's approach to his work is impressive - he is dedicated, hard working, detailed and thorough, courteous and professional. He did an excellent job and I am totally satisfied with this job. I was so happy with Rich's work that I told him he is a "working world hero". He said he wasn't a hero, and I said, yes he is, he's my hero. And I do mean that. He had all qualities of a perfect worker in my home. I would re-hire this company with no hesitation.

The technician was EXCELLENT. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He arrived on time and throughout the process ensured his work remained contained throughout while the surrounding areas remained neat and tidy. GREAT job. I need to call to get some other things done so this company is on my list to call FIRST!

They were very punctual, and did top-notch work. The patch, molding replacement and painting were done so well that we could not see where the damage had occurred! Great attention to detail!

Our restoration company (Restoration 1) charged us a fortune for the dry-out, and told us that we'd have to wait awhile before they could provide us an estimate for the drywall repair, so I started calling drywall contractors on Angie's List.. Roy and his crew from Southern Counties Drywall were awesome! After texting him pictures of our damage and measurements he gave me a quote over the phone. Naturally having dealt with so many contractors I thought this was just a starting price, and that it would be more once complete. Not the case, Roy and his crew came out the next day, surveyed the situation, and started work! They had the entire job done in 1.5 days, kept right on budget, and didn't charge me a dollar over the quoted price! After seeing the progress they made in the morning I asked if they could replace the baseboards that were damaged as well. They only charged me $50 for all this work (baseboards & baseboard repair on 5 walls). Awesome job, no waiting for the job to start, completed on time & for the price quoted, would use them again in a heartbeat! Southern Counties Drywall completed the entire job before Restoration 1 could provide me their estimate... still waiting for.

Roy was great about keeping me informed about the start date slipping a little so that Chad and Richard could complete a different job. Chad and Richard were professional and did beautiful work. The walls were smooth and the texture appears to have been applied evenly. The walls look like it might look on a brand new home.

Rich from Southern Counties did a very good job and finished in the amount of time he estimated. I would definitely use these guys again as I believe they were very professional and delivered exactly what they communicated and were reasonably priced.

Roy and his crew did what was promised. They showed up as they said they were going to, they did a good job of cleaning up afterward, and they got the job done earlier than promised. The only thing preventing an A-grade was a mishap with one of the lighting fixtures and a few unexpected dings on the walls/baseboards. The finished work was and A, but overall a B+/A-, for a bit of residual issues.

We bought an advertised “4 hour special drywall work” for $240 from Southern Counties Drywall. Roy was prompt and courteous. It took less than a week for him to schedule an appointment with us. He arrived on time, assessed the scope of work, and originally told us it would probably take 5 to 5 ½ hours to complete. His work was amazingly professional. All 3 drywall patches blend in with the existing area and look great! He cleaned up the work area to our satisfaction. He actually completed the job in less than 4 hours so there was no overage charge and he didn’t even charge us for the supplies he used. He said it was all covered by the $240 we paid. A class guy! We highly recommend Southern Counties Drywall and we will definitely use Roy again for our drywall work.

Richard was punctual and did an excellent job patching up my ceiling. Everything was done in a few hours and the price was very reasonable. Richard even cleaned up the mess my plumber made! I would highly recommend Southern Counties Drywall to anyone.

Roy responded very promptly then came out and gave us a very fair price. We scheduled the work and were pleased when he called and moved up the date by one day. Roy and his crew arrived promptly at 8:00 AM and set to work immediately. Ten holes were patched to perfection and painted the next day. Roy was good to work with - communicated well and friendly. Richard was the tradesman that did the drywall work. He was on time, got right to work, protected my kitchen area and my entire entry way from debris while he did the work. The quality of work of outstanding and he cleaned up the area perfectly afterwards.
