Richard Bonacci Wood Fence

I contacted Richard at Affordable Fence for an estimate. I left a message and Richard returned my call. I described the scope of the job as replacing my entire wood fence at my residence.

I was disappointed to hear from Richard that the job was not worthy of his time. Richard indicated that I lived too far away and the traffic is bad.

Orange, CA to my home in Chino Hills is 20 miles and 40 minutes in traffic???

He was nice on the phone, but I was seriously disappointed that he wasn't interested in what I consider to be a good sized job. 

Tried to get Richard to come to my house for a cost estimate for a wood fence and was never able to get an estimate from him. Prior to the proposed meeting Richard had a code related question to my project. I then contacted the city for a clarification which would require a change in the design. Richard also claimed there would be other problems with the city regarding the height of the fence which was proved untrue when discussed with the city. Basically he wasn't interested in working on my project, but felt the need to throw up as many road blocks as possible. Seemed pretty arrogant and didn't appear to be a good person to work with. Can not recommend him to others.

Each time the work was done in a satisfactory manner. His calls are quickly returned. The work has been done as promised in regards to timing and pricing. The crew cleans up after themselves. I have a third job pending in which I will call him to complete.

I called for an estimate and left a message. Quick response on return of call. I told company (owner) I was having my home remodeled and needed (2) fences removed and replaced. This man came off on phone very strong. He said when his crew is on the site, he actually tells home owner to leave town. He said he didn't allow other crews on site because other people on site costs him money. I did not like his tone and finally asked him if he was interested in this job. He said no and hung up.

WHEN WE BUILT OUR POOL OUR OLD FENCE WAS NOT UP TO CODE. THEY TOOK DOWN AND REPLACED MY OLD FENCE WITH A NEW FENCE WITH A GATE THAT WAS SELF LATCHING. THEY DID THE WORK IN ONE DAY.
