Pinnacle Painting

Right off the bat, problems started occuring. The 2nd week of work, 1/2 of the crew lost a family member in Mexico, and left the job. Different people have shown up to the job site, instead of their "crew" as promised. Prep work has been poor to non existant. Wood trip was painted without prep, and the wood started peeling off with the new paint. The contractor let his State Fund Ins. lapse, causing another long delay in work. One of the owners asked for more money so they could reinstate the Ins. (They had just rec'd a $20,000 installment!) Workers showed up at the job site looking for payment from the association, since they could not contact the company owners. There have been several walkthroughs to list problems that need to be addressed, the latest being yesterday. Obviously, the 36 day completion was a figment of their imagination!. Overall the work has been less than the "fine finish" that they promise on their letterhead, and the workers, including the owners have been far less than professional. One brother told us that he was leaving the company when this job was done, which leads me to believe that the company will probably cease to exist. If so, there goes our guarrantee!
