Everything went very well. We didn't know what to expect when we found the carpet moist in the closet. We contacted Evan's and he sent out his plumber the next morning. He was awesome. We had a pin hole leak in a pipe in the wall. He cut out the dry wall and we were able to see a slow drip coming from the pipe in the wall. He cut the pipe and resoldered a new piece in place. Tested the house for any further problems. After ensuring that everything was good to go, we paid the price given with the Angies discount and all was good. The only thing we needed to do afterwards was to get someone in to fix the drywall. Evans was great. Highly recommend.

They ended up re-piping the plumbing so that it came down through the ceiling. The owner was even kind enough to give me a credit for a fixture one of the tech's had broken in my kitchen. I'm very impressed, and glad that they were able to avoid jack hammering my floors. The tech even came back to install a new faucet at no charge. I would highly recommend them.

Work was performed professionally and the area was cleaned. Very happy with their price and work. The set price is comfortable because you know what to expect. I would recommend this company for leak detection and repair.

Patrick returned my call within 15 minutes and we were able to schedule someone to come out the same day. The technician, Omar, was very patient in answering all our questions both before they started work and during. After they left, the valve for the fridge water line broke off in our hands. They sent Omar back to the house even though it was after hours. While I hope to never have another leak, I would definitely call them again if I do.

It went well, was a big job, the flat fee pricing was best part, I didn't have to wonder if they were milking the job to build billable hours. They did a good job.

I called Evans Leak Detection after a neighborhood plumber botched a leak repair job. I called late on a Friday afternoon. The owner, Patrick, took my call and listened to my concerns. Patrick was extremely helpful in offering guidance which may have driven me to call the local company to come repair their poor work. Given my lack of confidence in the local company and their lack of professionalism, I opted to "start over" with Patrick and his company. Am I glad I did! First, Patrick worked late into Friday evening to see if he could coordinate his team's schedule to come to my house over the weekend. We decided on a Monday morning appointment. On Monday, Evans Leak Detection came to my house on time and in uniform. The plumber (I cannot remember his name!) was very professional and courteous. He assessed the situation and confirmed that the prior plumber did a terrible job. In fact, his assessment was that the prior plumber fixed the wrong pipe and didn't fix the leak at all. He showed us how he was able to make this assessment so that we would understand that we did not have a second leak - - - the original leak was not repaired. He fixed the slab leak AND reconnected the piping that the other plumber had cut to bypass the supposed original leak. He also disassembled the unsightly contraption that the other plumber had rigged to bypass the leak. When Evans Leak Detection left, my water meter had stopped spinning and a stressful week of issues stopped spinning out of control. I hope to not have another slab leak but if I do, Evans Leak Detection is #1 on my list to call.

Arrived on time.  Price as quoted before hand, flat rate.  Decided to use PEX instead of copper re-pipe so there would look better and prevent future pinhole leaks.   Manny was knowledgeable, curteous, on time and did a great job.  Had another plumber with him, took only ~ 2 hours.  Will definitely use them again.

Patrick is the ultimate for customer service.  From the time we met at the front door it was like we were old friends and my satisfaction was his number 1 concern.  He diagnosed and explained the problem and gave me my choice of three options to correct it.  And if I wasn't happy with the final results for any reason he would fix it until was satisfied with a life time guarantee and no additional cost. Will definitely use them again and I recommend anyone with a leak to contact Evans Leak Detection

They did excellent. They are straightforward and they tell you ahead of time how much they charge. They came and did exactly what was supposed to be done very professionally. We had a leak and they put something in between the pipes. I had the same problem prior to that and then the other guy he just bust my floor open just to find the leak. This guy came very professionally and did it and he told me he charge everybody the same so there's no surprise there. I asked him about the price and he said he had to come and depending on how much he stayed he would charge it based on his time but I think he's very reasonable about that. I talk to a lot of repair people the price and it's pretty reasonable for what they do. The guy's name is Manny, he explains everything he does before he does it.

went pretty well and pretty fast. only downside was kitchen faucet water pressure is now less than it used to be... due to inner sleeve being a little smaller than the original pipe. given that we had gotten a half dozen quotes that were all over the map ($5000 - $30000 to do various things like replumb the entire house, reroute or bypass the bad pipe thru walls and ceilings, jackhammer the post-tension slab..a no-no..to dig up and repair the pinhole leak), i think i can live with a little less water pressure in that one faucet. with a kid in college, there was no way we were going to buy the $30K cadillac of plumbing repairs to replumb the entire house.. what a joke. we did have to do our own drywall repair, but it was only one square, so no big deal there. we left it open for a while anyway in case the leak came back, figuring murphy's law would get us if we sealed it up too quickly. evans was great, seemed fair, reasonable, honest. would recommend to friends.

Manny arrived on time and went directly to work.  he diagnosed, repaired and tested the leak.  He got the job done in the time he said he would.  He left his number and contact information.  When the work was done, I walked through the testing with him.  Everything looked good.  He left our home around 6 pm.  later that night i found another leak that was in the wall very near the work that was done.  I called Manny at 10 pm.  He answered and walked me through a few steps to check the leak and turn off the water.  he committed to come the next morning to repair the leak .  He arrived on time the next morning on time.  He repaired the additional leak at no extra charge.  There was no need to argue or discuss who was at fault or whether the leak was a result of their work... or just old plumbing.   It was handled professionally and politely.  All in all I am very satisfied with the work that was done and the professionalism.  Many times in the service business, we run into work that is out of the scope or just a result of the situation (in this case a house with 50 year old plumbing)... the difference with most service providers is the way they handle the exceptions or anomalies....  in this case Evans Plumbing did a great job with integrity and professionalism.  i would defnately hire them again, and recommend them to others for business.

Patrick and his crew did exactly what they promised to do.  They came to our 4-unit apartment building on-time and detected a slab leak that we had suspected due to the sound of running water -- there was no water visible to determine the source of the leak.  The leak was under the bathroom of one of the units.  They tested their theory of where the leak was located by finding the "manifold" of pipes in the building and cutting the water to the suspected circuit.  When that eliminated the sound of the running water they knew they had the right circuit.  They then ran a plastic tubing sleeve through the circuit of copper pipe and attached the sleeve at both ends of the circuit to the existing pipe thus forming a non-leaking circuit.  The then checked the water meter to make sure all leaks were stopped.
The complete job took about 2 hours for the two-man crew.  On an hourly basis the $1150 may seem like a lot, but compared to other companies that may tear up your entire floor and walls looking for a leak and the cost of repairing all that and disruptiing your tenants, it seemed well worth it to me.  Additiionally Patrick promised before he even started that the cost would never be more than $1150 no matter how long it took him to solve the problem.  While I never had to test that promise, it gave me some comfort in hiring him in the first place.  You can judge for yourself the value here, but the bottom line is what I said in the beginning -- they came out and did exactly what they promised to do.

They were very easy to work with! Their price was incredibly reasonable.  The company who helped me with a slab leak ten years ago charged over $4,000.00. Evans Leak Detection did the work quickly, and they cleaned up after themselves very well. They were upfront, honest, and professional.
