As of this review, it has been 16 months since everything was installed (2 condensers, 2 furnaces, 2 coiling coils, and duct work). One condenser makes a screeching noise and almost daily has to be adjusted to be level; when it’s level the noise goes away. One of the blower fans in the furnaces isn’t working properly; instead of the normal hum, it rumbles and shakes the attic floor, and the coiling coils are leaking cold air in the attic. At 16 months old, you would think all of this would be fixed under warranty. When I called up Elite HVAC, I was told that Elite would not be honoring the 10-year parts and labor warranty nor the 5-year maintenance plan that came with my $35,000 purchase. If I want any of this fixed, I would have to pay Elite HVAC the actual cost of repairs. Their explanation of this absurdity is that that the current owners only purchased assets of the company while leaving all liabilities to the previous owner. Thus, I would need to contact the previous owner for warranty repairs and maintenance service plan. Prior to this, I have made multiple attempts to contact the previous owner for the maintenance plan. All of them have ended with him failing to come out at the date and time agreed to, and my being unable to get ahold of him again using the same phone number I called from. I would have to call from a different phone number to get him to pick up again. He once again agreed to come out, failed to do so, and wouldn’t return calls from the same number. I have conveyed this experience to Elite, and they reiterate their position that they will not take responsibility for warranty and maintenance plan. I would never purchase anything from them again. It wouldn’t surprise me to learn that this company changes owners regularly as a way to retain assets and avoid liabilities. I don’t know this for sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out to be the case.

The whole process went great! I initially reached out to them because I was really worried about loosing my AC in the heat. I have pets and I can't have my system quit. They were on time, professional and set up an additional appointment to get my system set for summer. I will keep them on my radar to replace my unit next year.

The workers did a great job. When they sold us the new unit we were told it would be much better than the old unit and cool the house a lot faster. However there were a few issues from the beginning because the air was not circulating properly. Some rooms or areas of the house were cold while others were still hot. They came back out and put extra vents in one of the bedrooms and adjusted the fans on the unit. They initially came out in the morning when the house is cooler so I asked for them to come back out at 5pm when its warmer. He initially agreed but then stated he wouldn't come at that time because of how bad traffic is. Since  then I feel I have been getting the run around from the different people within the company. I'm receiving conflicting information and it caused a mix up and somehow my service call was placed last in line because as they say "your unit is working you should be lucky." From that point I felt as if I was not getting anywhere with the company and ended the call without my problem being resolved,

Our heater quit heating on Friday night 12/26/14.  When I initially searched on Angie's List (my first time) I could not find any Heater/AC companies in our area that were open on Saturday.  For whatever reason this company did not pop up on my list.  My husband researched on the internet and found Elite HVAC which was open on Saturday.  He called and was told that Gordon would be out as soon as possible.  Gordon showed up within a couple of hours and diagnosed the problem.  We needed a control module and also the filter needed to be replaced.  He said he would be back on Monday with the parts.  Gordon was here at 9:30 and fixed the heater in less than an hour.  I was very impressed.  He said to give him a call if we had any further problems.
We are very satisfied with Gordon's work.  Have had no problems, heater is working great!  Actually received a thank you note from the company thanking us for selecting them to do our repair work and to let us know there was a lifetime warranty on all repaired parts.  We were very impressed.  Definitely will call them in the future if we have any further problems with our heater or air conditioner.

We spoke to Lynn who did not seem to care that we are one of their customers and that we recently replaced our entire system with this company. When we requested someone today (we were calling about 4:30pm), her exact words were "It's not like we have people sitting around on the couch." I reminded her that we recently purchased our compressor, forced air unit, condenser and all new ducting. I said, "We just purchased the compressor and now it has failed in the first big heat wave." Her exact response was "It was in May... Reallly?? Comon".
We do not appreciate the attitude from this company and, although we did at one time, we do not recommend this company. We will seek elsewhere.

Elite HVAC came out and did a thorough evaluation of our house and provided us with several different options and price ranges for a whole house heating and air unit. We selected a quote that included relocating our existing furnace to the attic, replacing all the existing duct work and the installation of a couple extra registers for more efficient air flow, and which qualified for a $1500 rebate from SCE. Their crew arrived promptly and worked quickly and efficiently over 2-3 days to complete the installation and provide us with answers to our questions and instruction on how to use and program the thermostat.

The only thing that is keeping me from giving them the highest ratings throughout is that we've had a few issues with regard their follow up. It took several weeks and several phone calls to get an air filter they promised to follow up on for the heater, and another couple of weeks and more calls to get the thermostat replaced due to it not keeping the correct time and the display being  a little buggy. Not big issues, but it took repeated calls and several weeks to get done.

Also, this installation was done in November, 2013. We were told that our $1500 rebate can take as long as 3 months to get. We've tried following up several times to get a status, but as of this date (almost 4 months later), we still do not have a status or an idea of when to expect our rebate.

Overall, we are pleased with our heating and air conditioning unit and would recommend Elite HVAC due to the thoroughness of their evaluation and the several options and price ranges they provided us which allowed us to feel comfortable about the decision we made.

my furnace of course stopped working on the first really cold night.  I reached out to Elite Hvac and although they are located in Orange, they gladly came out to my place in sunset beach.  I called at 4:30 and by 5:30 they were here and within 45 minutes had my Furnace up and running again.  Also mentioned that if I ever needed a new furnace that all work comes with a lifetime warranty.    Fast Service and didn't try and raise the price one cent!

I called this company after doing an internet search for a company to do a simple A/C repair on my Lennox system during a really hot stretch of weather at the end of August.  The fan over the outside cooling unit had stopped running. Another local company, "Service Champions" in Savi Ranch, had tried to scam me the day before by giving me a quote of $1200 to replace 2 capacitors and a contactor. These are parts that are readily available over the internet- all less than $100 each-and replacment is a simple task- unhook wire connector from faulty component, reattach to new component.
When I balked at the Service Champion guy and told him he was scamming me, he then had a sales guy come out to give me on price on a complete new A/C system for $6200 (probably not a bad price for a new Lennox system.)

Anyway, I knew that there wasn't anything seriously wrong and that I just needed to get the outside fan running. So after sending the Service Champion people on their way, I found "Comfort Elite" in Orange willing to come out the next morning and do the repair.
The Comfort Elite guy showed up early the next day as promised.  The bad parts were already removed.  In fact, the Comfort Elite guy determined that only one of the 2 capacitors was defective.  He replaced the bad one and the contactor which was highly worn, then proceeded to charge me $470 for less than 30 minutes of work.  Because it was so blasted hot and humid, I reluctantly paid and was back in business.

I have since checked online pricing for all of these parts. Had I been willing to wait for delivery, I could have paid less than $200 for the parts.  I never mind paying a fair price, but in this case I feel I was completely taken advantage of and price gouged.

They arrived on time (actually early) with a great crew.  Everyone was courteous and hardworking.  I really enjoyed talking to everyone -- great attitude about work.  The work was completed in 2 days.  They cleaned up nicely and gave me a lot of information about the new system.  They scheduled an inspection for me through the city so I don't have to do anything. The owner, Gordon, came to do the final inspection and trained me on how to use it.  I was impressed with all the little details (lo-count, testing, etc) they have to do.  Gordon also gave me an upgraded thermostat a few days later!  So why the "B" grade for punctuality?  The son, Harrison, missed a few scheduled appointments to deliver papers, test & submit our rebate papers.   We just got our rebate from Edison, so everything is good.  I will recommend them to all my family & friends.

The service was great, so far, we are still waiting on the rebate.
The price was reasonable.
They were very polite, very clean, they cleaned everything.
They moved it to the ceiling, which was a bit of a mess, but they clean everything out.
They cleaned asbestos out of the ceiling.
Did everything very well, and were on time, exactly a little early.
Which is great, no problems.
When we get the rebate the price will be cheaper.
