When they arrived in response to a phone call they determined that the house had no cleanouts. They agreed to try to run a snake down a vent line and were able clear a 1 1/2" opening. They quoted for the installation of a cleanout and I accepted. The work was done over the next two days and completed to my satisfaction. My complaint if you want to call it that was the cost. Considering the labor effort was two guys for about 8 hours total and fairly minimal materials I thought the cost was double what it should have been.

Very Expensive for what I needed done.. Quoted work that other plumber said was not necessary.

He was very honest about what my option were. When we realized where the problem was and he told that we cant do a T intersection with the hydro jetting thing and I'm like okay. So basically the only option was to either dig it up and I either hired them to dig it up or dig it up ourselves. They were really quick when I called them, they got back with me right away, they came out like within 24 hours.

I bought the Angie's list promotion of $79 for $200 worth of plumbing thinking this would likely be enough to fix the problem. Steve came to the house and I showed him the shower faucet. He said he would give me two estimates, one to fix the existing and another if the plumbing in the wall had to be replaced. The estimates came in at $400 ($200 after coupon) and $1100 ($900 after coupon). I told Steve this seemed really expensive and asked him to leave. I got on the internet and found out that Moen cartridges often fail and are easy to replace. I got the part for $18 and the special tool for $25 from Home Depot. I fixed this myself for less than $50!!!!! This company is DISHONEST and SHOULD BE AVOIDED!!!!

not very well. the technician tried hard using a snake, but somehow the things got worse, the sink was almost completely clogged. He then suggested to use a jet clean, but the price would be $750. When I asked if we should use a camera to identify where the problem was, he said the camera usage alone would cost $350.

I would never call this company for service again. Their business model is crazy and if this pricing is really what they normally use I would not expect for them to remain in business much longer. Angie's list refunded our payment to them very quickly and said they would follow-up on this bad review of the service provider.

If I had gone to a specialty plumbing shop I could have got the parts and done it for a lot less.

No problems...on time for appointment, informative and did a good job. I would recommend this company.

Great Experience, Michael , i opened the door and there is this tall young man clean, and with a Great smile on his face. After introductions, showed him the bathroom, he checked out existing connections , all ok, returned from truck with pads to protest the floor, an hour later old remover, new installed bath room clean and back in order, all packing and shipping materiel removed.Do It Right Plumbers are lucky to an employee like Michael...Great job Michael and THANKS.

They never did the work for me, I bought a "deal" for $200 worth of services, they came out to what apparently was not to do any work but to quote me and setup a time to come back to actually do the work. All the quotes seemed to be maked up about $100 so really I was getting $200 worth of services for $200 ($99 "deal" and extra $100 markup on all services). Since I had already spent the time and bought the "deal" i figured might as well go through with it. So they quoted and define the job, all they were there to do, but never contacted me again to actually perform the work. This might have been due to the gentleman seeing the plumbing work I had done myself to which he said "I don't want to plumb here, you do really good work". So now I am in the need of a new plumber and out the $99 I spent on the "deal". Angies list basically told me I was out of luck on getting a refund, because Do It Right Plumbers kept me on the hook long enough I was too late to get a refund. I guess they do "do it right" they get money and don't even have to do work for it.

Tristan, who I had contact with over the phone, was consistently helpful and considerate with keeping me up-to-date with appointments. The service technician, Michael was absolutely wonderful--very professional, speedy, and did a fantastic job of cleaning up. The removal and installation were flawless, and we will for sure be using them in the future when the need arises.

The service call went very well. David Garcia from do It Right Plumbers arrived ontime and introduced himself at the front door while putting protective covers on his shoes. He listened to my explanation, examined the toilet in question, gave it a check up, and could find nothing wrong. The problem is intermittent and i could not reproduce it while David was there. He explained that the issue was like a build-up of sediment and nothing serious or that needed to be addressed at this time. I was very impressed by his honesty and his knowledge. and by the fact that he made sure there was nothing else that was wrong with the toilet.

The dispatcher was courteous, accommodating, and fulfilled our request. The service technician, Michael, arrived timely and was polite, clean dressed and exhibited excellent professional and people skills. I was totally satisfied with the result.

The Do It Right Plumber used a camera to scope the drain all the way to the street. They were able to clear the cog fairly quickly but the camera scope clearly showed the problem to be scale build up in the drainage lines. They recommended Hydro Jetting. Unfortunately, when our home was built there was no cleanout pointed back toward the house so they had to install a new cleanout so that they could jet the entire line. This involved removing a section of our paver driveway and digging down about 6 feet to install the new cleanout junction. then refilling the whole, then hydro jetting. The job took all day long. The crew was very professional and friendly. They were more careful than any other contractor I've had in the home about protecting the floors. They have a rule about not setting anything directly on the customer's floor. I wouldn't have minded but I appreciate their courtesy. In the end I have clear drains and cause of the clogs is removed. Great job.

I purchased a Big Deal and they stated that they would come 8-830am then 1pm then 5pm and then lastly 630pm. They refused to give me a ballpark price so I decided to cancel the Big Deal.

I purchased it, we had them come out to do a general repair and there was a lot more than, my master shower had two handles and it was leaking and it's just basically replacing the valves and they were saying it was gonna be hundreds of dollars and I know by looking at the part of Home Depot it's a $24 part maybe receipt and labor, I think it was a little over $300 and we decided we weren't gonna do it so we have the credit but were not gonna do it. Just for a simple repair like that it was like I said over three hundred dollars. After receiving that quote I said no and I actually did it myself.

I have two handles on my shower and it was basically replacing a valve. They said that it was going to be hundreds of dollars. I found the part at the store for $24 and they wanted $300. We decided not to do it. We have the credit. After I received that quote, I said no and did it myself. They were a responsive company, and I just thought the prices were extreme. It is a good company, they responded when I called them for the appointment, we set the appointment, and they came as scheduled. The guy was nice and my wife said that they were trying to up sell her stuff. If it had been $100 to $150 then yes, but not $300. The only negative was the price. The guy did say that we could apply for a credit. I think the office is very professional. The service call was more of a sales pitch than fixing the problem.

Both Josh and Mike are very polite and considerate. I wish I could use their service but the pricing was out of my range.

It was mixed. They ended up not being able to complete the job the parts were broken and there were roots and there machines didn't work. We kind of called it a day. They came out and their machine wasn't working so they had to bring a bigger machine out and they were going to use water to do it. It didn't work and that machine broke. Then they had to take it to the shop and come out the next morning and it still didn't work. Well the machine worked. We were going to have them snake the drainage pipes for our yard. It was a week after we had I think 2 or 3 days of rain. They wanted to charge us the full price but I said, 'you didn't do the full job.' So we just ended up paying the 89 dollars. They didn't fail, they just couldn't go any further. It was kind of mutually calling it a day. They came out the one day and they were only able to do 15 to 20 minutes before they gave up on the smaller machine. Then they brought the larger machine and they couldn't get that one to stay on, so he spent maybe an hour which we figured the 89 dollars would do for their labor. We weren't going to give them 700 dollars for the quote on the job if they didn't do the job. Their quote was competitive but its just that they didn't do the job basically. We figured that since they were from Angie's List, they could be good. It took them a while to get back to us. Of course we had the rain storms then they couldn't do anything till the following week. They had some communication problems with the dispatcher and they guy who actually came out. So there were definitely different times. The guy who came out was later than the guy called in and said he would be there at 12:30 and didn't show up until like 2:30. Overall, it was not a great experience with them. He was very polite and clean. He did really try to do a good job, it just turned out that he couldn't do a good job.

This provider gave us a quote of $400-$500 to fix the kitchen sink and $1400 for the water heater. We hired another provider that charged us $120 to fix the kitchen sink and $400 for the water heater. I did not end up using this provider but they did sent me an email reminding me to get a refund from Angie's List. I think that this may have been an issue with the technician.

I bought the Big Deal for $89.00 which was for clearing a backyard drain. Unfortunately, that did not work since the drain was filled with roots from trees and bit shrubs in the area. I was given a price for having the drain hydro-jet cleaned which I accepted. The job was scheduled for the next day. Josh called to say he was running a little late, which I appreciated. He did arrive around noon and worked steadily until after dark. After the drain was cleared, he asked if I would want to have a shut-off valve for the gas installed, and he told me the cost. I had wanted to have this done for several years, and I quickly said yes. When it started getting dark, I expected him to leave and return the next day, but he insisted on completing the job. So, poor Josh had to use a light to see how to complete installing the valve which was behind a rather large shrub. The work turn-out to cost a lot more than the $89.00 Big Deal, but I am very pleased that both jobs are completed and the work was done properly. I will certainly call them again when I need a plumber.

The service was very good. We thought that the bees wax ring was busted. The guy pulls the toilet and said that we got other problems. Below the bees wax ring, the drain line was chipped and that was leaking and it cost more. It was more than I expected, but it needed to be fixed.

What a terrific experience. Technician Michael Cisneros is not only a wonderful guy, but he was able to explain the situation clearly and ensure that I was comfortable with what needed to be done and the cost of doing so. Michael took care of the clogged drainage pipes in a short time, but he really did a thorough job! Very pleased with Do it Right Plumbers.
