they charged for switching parts not switched, they said they did flushes not flushed, they charged for a brake job which they did after I told them not to. Had to pay to get my car, and they put stop-leak into my system, and now I need another replaced part to keep that from causing more damage. Reporting them to all authorities, and they refuse to make things right. Would never trust them again.

I took my Chevy pickup in for a smog check. The technician that did the test seemed totally clueless. They have always passed me in the past, but today, after almost an hour of fiddling with it, he said it would not pass. I asked him what the problem was, and he could not tell me. This from a certified smog repair station. Then, after all that I went in to pay for the test. The sign out front states "Smog Test $29.95" They charged me $48.00 with no explanation for the price increase. The man behind the counter who took my money said there was nothing else they could do for me. This from a smog repair station. I will never go back there, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. It was great the did what they said the would do the diagnosed and fixed it the same day. Gave me a free enterprise rental car. Washed my car and told me I have a lifetime warranty on the repair! I will definitely be back... Thanks chapman auto!

These guys and gals are great. Top shelf service. They'll drop off or pick you up or if need be they have loaner cars available just like the dealer for you to take with you. They are set up basically like a dealership but

People that work there are super duper friendly. I had a couple of oil changes done and some brake work. They did a good job even though it was a little on the pricey side. I don't think I will be going back though. I was informed a few months back that I need to get some other work done that was going cost at least $700. I decided to stop by the dealership where I purchased my vehicle from just to get a price quote. I got a quote but the service advisor asked me if I noticed any problems and I told him no. They decided to double check it and I was told that it did not need to be replaced. So needless to say I almost shelled out $700 for something that I didn't need. There very nice there but that's a deal breaker for me.

They are fabulous because like my husband had to fix the head on my husband’s car and they rented him a car because it went way over. They rented us a car for 3 days for free and because there was a complication, they rented him a car for another 3 days. I’ve used them for years and they have a lifetime warranty except on the transmission that you only get a year. I had a fuel pump that went out 13 months after they put it in, it only cost me $2 or $3 for the disposal. The price was a pretty good price. I go to them because most repair places do not give you the kind of guarantee on the work that they give you that ones with the guarantee. The other places don’t give you a rental car at their cost if you need a rental car. They have a pickup and delivery service. I like their service, the quality and the warranty on their service. In fact, I had an issue after they fixed something and they replaced little screws or something like that and they didn’t even charge me for it. They just warrantied it and replaced it for free. They are much cheaper than a dealer. I recommended friend to them. Except for some of the high end dealerships, they are only the car place I know that will rent you a car.

Requested coolant leak diagnosis & engine light diagnosis, likely glow plug replacement. Chapman called me and recommended 4 other services which I accepted, assuming they were actually required. Staff was friendly - overly so. They answer the phone with another company's registered trademark slogan. Work was done promptly, requested parts were returned, though I now know I should have requested all parts. I do not believe all work was actually required. Most parts were significantly overpriced compared to Chevrolet dealer and online sources, total about $610 over. Diagnosis charge was not rolled into service charge, as many shops do.
Water pump: 25% overpriced, labor about right.
Serpentine belt: 140% overpriced, labor included with water pump labor.
Fuel filter: 30% overpriced, labor 22% over. Probably not needed, replaced about 2-3 years ago.
Power steering pressure hose: 90% overpriced, labor OK. Probably not needed, no leakage noted at home, never had to top off.
Glow plug: price OK, labor 115% overpriced.
Batteries and cable: said batteries were leaking acid and significant cable damage. I took & examined the parts. Only one battery leaking. Some cable corrosion, arguable whether it could have been cleaned instead of replaced. Batteries 59% overpriced, cable 240% overpriced.
Transmission flush: hard to compare, but ATF fluid was overpriced.
The entire visit was at least $600 and more likely close to $1,000 overpriced.
We could see where the extra money goes. On a Saturday afternoon, there were three office staff and one mechanic present. Their courtesy shuttle is a Hummer.
We won't be back, except possibly for lifetime warranty work on the provided parts and services.

It requires a few more people working in the office to provide the level of customer service our guests receive. Our pricing is competitive and it includes premium services such as Complimentary Loaner Cars, Lifetime Warranties, Complimentary Car Washes and the list goes on. We have five technicians working every day of the week including Saturday. It takes a bigger front office staff to support the amount of production staff we have working in the garage. Your average shop in the area will have only 1 Service Advisor working with 2-3 technicians. This might be why our staff looks bigger, when in reality we are pairing the correct number of Technicians & Service advisors to produce the volume of work performed at our facility. We are not the cheapest auto repair shop in town but we are the best value! Our goal is to provide an exceptional customer service experience and make visiting the repair shop fun. We realize that the guests coming from Angie’s List prefer and demand a high level of customer service and industry expertise. Our aim is to provide all of our guests with that experience.
