Bret Jackson deservedly has a good reputation for house painting in Old Towne Orange (California), with a specialty in historic-era houses. That's why we chose him despite lower bids from other painters. Bret showed up on time every time, gave us a heads-up for a couple of delays he encountered, and stayed true to his schedule and bid. He made some excellent suggestions for improvements and did some general carpentry for repairs around the house, and he re-arranged his schedule to start the interior painting when the flooring contractor's schedule became available. He made some common-sense suggestions for interior colors that saved time and money and still made the house look great. And he was very concerned about anything he may have missed, reminding me a few times to point them out so he could fix them, which he did promptly. I recommend him highly.
