It went well!

PERFECTION. This is the second time I had Barry treat my walls. The first time was major wall repair/replacement and matching the texture from the 80's. He had good reviews online AND he was very reasonable. I don't know how he did it, but the work was seamless. I even have friends look his work over and try to guess where the original wall ends and where his texturing begins. So far, no one has been able to tell! This time, I talked to Barry about entering the new millenium with smooth walls and ceilings. He invited us over to his home to see how it would look. They are a work of art. He has a good work ethic of calling the day before to confirm, arriving on time, cleaning up after himself, and just being pleasant. Barry even went so far as to recommend how to get the next step done (prime and paint methods), and what to do if the walls get dinged during the bathroom re-do. We are definitely going to use him again when we re-do the kitchen, and I recommend him to anyone!

Barry put up insulation and drywall in our garage and even patched up some holes that were on a wall that wasn't included in the scope of work he was supposed to do for us. He was extremely responsive and prompt. He arrived early, stayed until the job was complete and cleaned up well. My husband and I both are very happy with the work and enjoyed Barry's company while he was here as well. If we have any additional work in the future, we would not hesitate to call Barry!

Barry did an outstanding job and we were exceptionally pleased with the results.  Barry was very professional and easy to work with and was very punctual in arriving according to the planned schedule.  Our  most optimistic expectations were surpassed with the quality of work and attention to detail.  We would definitely use Barry again for any future dry-walling efforts.

Barry is great to work with, very friendly, respectful, has lots of good ideas, didn't upsell, worksite was clean and ready to paint. I considered doing it myself and learning on the fly with my adult sons (because this is one step in the renovation we are all doing together), but there is no way we could have done it as well or as quickly. Especially because the almost 100-year old garage used lumber and building specs that are not the same as modern day. The room looks beautiful, lot of compliments.

Had Barry Manes drywall a three and a half car garage. He was on time or early. Barry took pride in his work. I would describe him as a gentle giant (big guy), which works good for finishing drywall. Would use him again.

They saw all the damage and are repairing the damage. They match the texture by taking a lot of time and they do it right. They do a nice cleanup.

I have an 11 x 12 ft. kitchen ceiling that I recently had recessed lighting removed from and and quot;canand quot; lights installed. I needed re-texturing in the inset part of the ceiling where the florescent lights had been.
I called Barry to set up an appraisal meeting for the next day and he showed up promptly on time. Barry suggested that I have the whole kitchen ceiling re-textured so that it would match. I am so glad that he suggested this. I was REALLY pleased with the cost that he gave me ... as I had had other appraisals that were outrageous for the work I needed done. Because of the heavy rains
we were having, we set up a date for the following Monday. He and Pedro show up exactly on time and
tented the kitchen and put down runners from the kitchen to the front door. They had the job completed by
mid-afternoon and even vacuumed the carpet and kitchen area before they left..
They were VERY courteous and professional. I have a houseful of popcorn ceilings that I am going to have removed in the near future and will absolutely give Barry a call to do this.

It was great. Barry was extremely efficient and professional. His quote was not the cheapest, but his quote covered the most work. He had to triple float the ceilings and anything less would not have covered the problems with the paint we wanted to use. We now haw velvet paint (not flat) on the ceilings and they look amazing as does the semi-gloss on the walls Barry did. We were extremely happy.

I didn't end up hiring Barry because he only does drywall and no painting. I needed the ceiling primed and painted. The description of how he would prep and texture coat my ceiling was detailed and had all the earmarks of a true tradesman. Unfortunately I did not have the time to deal with another contractor to do the painting and wanted to minimize the number of companies I had to deal with. Otherwise Barry would have been my first choice.

We are doing a total remodel on our home (which we recently bought) so we have had contractors, handymen and crews in and out for the past several months. I believe that Barry was been the best contractor that we have had here as of yet period. If every company was as professional, thorough and honest as Barry's it would make life and the stressful task of remodeling so much better. Barry went above and beyond the norm and actually went out of his way to help us in other areas; he rented a trailer to us and dumped it for very reasonable prices, he helped us move some heavy pieces and also offered his help in other areas.
Can't say enough positives, Barry's quality of work and just being a 'good guy' deserve an A++ rating if there was ever one deserved.

We are in the far edge of Barry's territory so we were glad he was willing to come out to Diamond Bar. Luckily, it was a slow time for drywall. Barry doesn't paint, so if he does any texturing for you you'll need to either paint it yourself or hire someone to paint. We would definitely use this company again

Searched under zip 92324 for drywall. Several companies came up. Read reviews and Called Barry. Told him I was in Colton (45 miles away) He said he doesn't take jobs that far away. Why does the search bring up businesses that do not work in your area. Wasted my time and his.

Firstly, Barry came in about two weeks before he did the work to give me an estimate. He was punctual, professional and the estimate he gave me was exactly what I ended up paying for the work. On the day of the work, Barry arrived with Pedro at 7 am and started working right away. Both Barry and Pedro worked without a break or any interruptions (like answering phones etc). They worked straight till about 1 pm. The opening that was previously in the room looks great now after they put the drywall. It has been textured and you cannot tell the difference. They cleaned everything after they completed the work. Overall, Barry was very professional, hard working and friendly. Also, I got few other estimates and they were all much much higher than what Barry quoted.
I am very happy with the work they did and would recommend Barry and his crew any time!

Tallest guy I've ever seen! Nice guy and got the work done nicely and professionally! Would recommend to those who need to fix their dry wall!

Mike came and gave a detailed estimate for each room, potential problems and finishing services. So I had a choice of what I wanted to spend. We had painted our ceilings years ago with a roller so he advised it might lead to additional cost. Sometimes painting this way leads to the texture sticking and requiring a skim coat. This was also included in the quote by each area. So I knew exactly what the final cost would be. Fortunately, everything went smoothly. I also liked the fact he took exact measurements with a laser tape measure for the estimate. I had one guy come over, not even look around and say it would cost $XXX - twice as much as Dove.
The process went fine- the crew foreman was a stickler for cleanup after scraping and the subsequent caulking/paint came out great. All in all, a great company to deal with.

Barry came out promptly for an estimate and was able to start the next day. He had all necessary materials and cleaned up afterwards. A great experience.

The crew showed up on time, performed all the work professionally, and cleaned up afterward. The only thing I need to do is prime and paint.

The job that Barry did was very much appreciated. We had been is a mess for weeks and Barry came in and took total control of the situation ad left with a superior clean up. I would recommend Barry and his crew for any one needed dry wall work..

We did not use him, since he never called us back to get a bid. We did also find out that he was not appropriately licensed.
