B & B Mill Sales

B&B did a great job about 3 years ago with hardwood flooring for most of our house. In the time since a hot water line in our slab created moisture under the flooring in one bedroom/office and damaged the floor (not B&B's fault). Although the particular brand and species of wood flooring is no longer available Jodi and Bill found the same flooring species, size, and finish from another manufacturer. They also gave us a great price. I wold recommend them for anyone who needs flooring in Orange County. Cost below is for the entire bedroom flooring demo, vapor barrier, and replacement.

The service was fine.  Three guys came out and took them ten hours to install the carpet.  I would highly recommend them.  They did a great job.

They helped me pick out and purchase the right tile for my bathroom. Their customer service is great. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. It seemed like a decent place. I would highly recommend them. I would use them again.

The installers were punctual, courteous, and respectful of our belongings. Their work is virtually perfect. Bill, the owner, is very customer oriented, and made sure that we were completely satisfied. We visited many other carpet stores in Orange County, and this company far surpassed them in every aspect. We highly recommend B&B Mill Sales, and will use them in the future.

Went to the showroom selected the products and got the project started. Downstairs tile installation went very well their tile guy Robert confidently told me he was very good and because of this I was going to get the best tile job and as it turned out he was very good. Subsequent to this job I've had many contractors in the house doing various work and a few of them have commented on how well the tile was done pointing out how good some of the difficult cuts looked and how the tile placement was done. The tile does look great it I have look at it closely since the job and it really was a very good installation.
There were problems with the grout not setting up correctly turning to powder which turned out to be something with the age of the grout or the particular batch of the product or something unrelated to the installation. We had to have the grout redone 3x but Custom Building Products the manufacturer of the grout stood behind their product and on the last go round even sent another tile company at their cost to install the grout which has been fine. The tile guys they sent also commented on how well the tile was installed.
The carpet installer was also very good the installation went well no issues with the carpet guy or his installation.
I would have given them an A but there were problems with the project management of the job. A lot of miscommunication between the project manager and his crew created issues to the point one of the owners, Bill, had to come out and get things patched up with us and he did.
I would say the job was undersold had I been given more information and options at the time of sale I would have done things different and actually would have purchased a more complete set of products/services from them which would have helped with some of the project management issues, particularly problems surrounding the downstairs baseboards.

B&B Mills Sales has a wonderful staff, they are family oriented and trustworthy. They?came to my house on time?as promised?to removed all tile flooring in kitchen and breakfast areas and carpeting throughout the main floor after the kitchen cabinets were demolished (by another company).? They came back to install the hardwood floors once we had the bottom cabinets installed.?? The installation of 1,000 sq. ft. of hardwood floor took an entire day (8:00 am - 7:00 pm).? The crew was very polite, worked hard and were very careful with all my furniture.? The flooring came out beautiful and we couldn't be any happier with the results.? The week after I called them back to replace one of the planks because it didn't look right.? They came out and replaced it, no questions asked and were very polite.? Since then, we have referred a couple of our friends who have already used them.? I only wished that the cabinet company we used had been as professional and hassle free as B&B Mills.

The Band B Mills carpet installer is a craftsman and a true professional. His work was top quality and installed the new carpet perfectly. The cost was exceptionally reasonable. I highly recommend the installer. Due to the professionalism of Band N Mills installer, when I am ready to buy new flooring (of any type), I will seriously consider purchasing that flooring from Band B Mills.

where this company really falls down is their professionalism. From the very first time till the last time and all 6 times in between from the moment you walk in the door trying to get anybody to help you weak at best. They have approx. 5 young 25ish people working there and they are there just to have fun. everytime I was there they would be playing around with each other and really know very little about any of the product lines that I was purchasing mainly tile, and slab tarazzo. If had to do it again and I will I would spend the time to hit Tile Row on St. college, in Anaheim and get professional service, which I deserve when spending 1000's of dollars. I always wondered who owned Band B and if they have any idea that these kids are running the company in the ground. Perhaps one of these kids are the owners kids?

Overall, an excellent job was done with all the flooring. The hard wood floors were installed first and then the bathroom. The installer was polite, timely, efficient, and cleaned up thoroughly after the job. Further, the installer repaired a broken seal on the toilet which he discovered upon installation of the bathroom floor. Next the carpet was installed. The installers moved furniture, protected the new wood floors, and were very efficient. A professional job was done by all. A member of Management came by after all the installations were complete and inspected the job. We were very pleased with this company and the installers. We will use this company again to install our entry-way tile floor.

Their sales people are very helpful and everybody is willing to help. It's a small company, but everybody seems to know what's going on. All of the work has been done well, they come when they are supposed to, and clean up well when they leave.
