They scheduled a tech several days in advance. On day of, the tech called and said he needed to come late. I thought nothing of this and said that's fine. That was where the problem began.
Suddenly everything became "emergency after hours" rates. Everything doubled in cost.
The tech himself was friendly enough, but a bumbling sort of character. He kept making dumb mistakes which were funny at the time, because he was making jokes etc, so I was totally amused by it. But again, this was a terrible mistake on my part to be amused, because I was being billed double time for this service.
He didn't have all the supplies he needed, so he made due with a makeshift setup and said he'd come back later to put it up. I was billed as though all supplies were there the entire time.
The invoice comes, and everything is marked up to emergency/after-hours rates. I tried calling them to talk about this, but got told I made the mistake of authorizing the work, so I had to pay it.
I really think if they'd been honest and up-front about their work I could give them a B+ rating (the bumbling dude and missing supplies was a bit unprofessional), but the dishonesty really is the dividing line for me. I cannot give a dishonest contractor anything better than a D rating. Also, since they really did at least come hook up some equipment to dry out the house, I can't give them an F either.

Very professional and responsive to my families needs and wishes

American Technologies, Inc. did some repair work inside the house that was great. We have a leak and had to have some repair work done. After repair work was done and of course we have the plasterboards fixed and repainted them and they just did a terrific job. I don't know exactly how much they charge me because it goes through the insurance company. They were efficient. Basically you can just give them an and ldquo;Aand rdquo; in everything. I was really pleased with them because it is initially was are they gonna be able to resurface the wall which has a hole and content particularly the plumbing and you wouldn't be able to pick out what has been repaired from what has been turned around after paint. You wouldn't be able to tell what have been repainted and what wasn't. They just did a great job. As a matter of fact I asked my client when she got home to tell me where the part of the wall that was repaired from the original is and she can't even tell me. On the price I'm not really sure but I gave them an and ldquo;Aand rdquo; anyway because the insurance company was happy with them and they are the one who recommended them.

They were fantastic. Their quote was good because I had some quotes that came up to $10000. Their price was fair for the work done. They did what they said they were going to do. I would use them again in the future.

I was not satisfied with their work. They did have enough equipment in the first place to work. They caused more mold damage than that was necessary because of it. They destroyed a lot of furniture. They did a poor job.

THEY DID ALL THE WORK IN ONE DAY, THEY DID NOT TAKE BREAKS JUST TO MAKE SURE THE JOB GOT DONE. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO GET PAINT ON ANYTHING AND MADE SURE THEY CLEANED EVERYTHING UP. I EVEN GOT A CALL THE NEXT DAY TO MAKE SURE THEY DID NOT HAVE TO COME BACK OUT FOR ANY THINGS THAT WE DID NOT LIKE.
