About us
A to Z Finishes and Repairs specializes in commercial and residential staining and refinishing. Our stains and finishes are customized to meet the needs of each of our clients. Work timelines are also designed around our client's needs to minimize disruption. We have been in business for nearly 20 years, originally specializing in high-end custom kitchen cabinets, entertainment centers, walk in humidors, wine cellars, crown molding, and resin table tops. In 2006 we expanded and began doing commercial work. Our quality millwork, staining, finishing and refinishing of tables and bars can be seen at BJ's Restaurants and Yard House Restaurants all over the US.

After meeting with many contractors, A to Z was referred to us and the experience from day 1 was excellent. Victor, the owner met with us to discuss the options and once decided he took a cabinet door so we could see an actual sample of the finished product. After a few changes on our part, the work started and Victor stayed close to the project as it progressed each day. Usually there were three workers at the house. They were neat and pleasant to interact with as we regularly checked-in and discussed progress. They masked the area off to ensure any debris from the work stayed in the masked-off area. The work was done over a three to four week period. Victor checked regularly to ensure our satisfaction. When we noticed something that needed to be addressed he would always say "no problem-we want you to be satisfied".
Beside the refinishing, A to Z offered to order a few new heavy duty drawers and self-closing hinges, which they agreed to install for the cost of the material (no labor). They actually gave me copies of their invoices so I could see exactly what they paid for the material.
The overall payment arrangement with A to Z was $1000 when signing the contract, 30% more when they started the work and the balance upon completion.
In summary, the pricing was competitive and the work was excellent. In fact we are looking to use A to Z for some furniture refinishing as well. I highly recommend A to Z Refinishes and Repairs.
