She was very happy with the result. We were happy with that. It was a vacuum cleaner so we drove it down there. They fixed it in a timely manner. They were professional and polite. Their work has held up. It works just fine now. It was worth it.

A day after we dropped the sewing machine off, we received a call with an estimate of $150 to do all repairs. So we agreed and gave the go ahead. About 3 days later they called and said that they could not repair the machine. We were disappointed but understood since it is so old. But here is the amazing part. A D and H did not charge us even though they spent time working on the sewing machine. This store is the kind of business that you can trust.
We would highly recommend using A D and H Service.

The store had parts for this vacume cleaned which had been out of production for 10+ years. They recognized the model and somehow had the parts, and were able to rebuild this to original operating effectiveness.

They recognized the model, and the possible problems immediately. The power supply was rebuilt and has workes fine since.

The staff was courteous, helpful with a sense of humor. They knew what I needed and how to fix my machine without talking in mechanic jargon. I brought in 2 Necchi machines, which are not comm. One machine I told them was 'possessed" because when it was plugged in, the machine ran by itself! We had a good laugh about this especially when they told me it was a simple case of 2 plugs reversed and plugged in the wrong place. The charge for this .....no charge.
The second machine was kept overnight so the specialist could look at it.. I received a call that same afternoon asking me if the machine had been dropped or run over since the insides were in terrible shape.I told them they could keep the machine for parts and asked how much for the evaluation, they said no charge again!
When I tried to use the formerly "possessed" machine now working, I found it had no bobbin casing, called the shop, yes they had it brought machine to the shop, bobbin casing inserted all is good.
Final charges for all this work? 0.00
And they were friendly, helpful, even carried my machine out to my car. This is good service.
I would use the shop again for any problems.
p.s. I also noticed they did vacuum repair and witnessed someone bringing an an Orek machine who thought it was broken. The serviceman took the vacuum in the back, ran a few tests and came out , told him him it was just clogged vacuum bags no charge for this service either.

I was very pleased with my experience. The machine they repaired works like a dream and had no problems with heavy material and thread. I was able to put it back to normal for regular material with no problem and very happy. I would go back if I have any further problems and also interested in taking classes there.

The vacuum emitted a smelly dusty odor every time I used it unless I had just that moment put in a new bag. I took it in to D & H at least 3 times to complain about this, and there was a 1 year labor warranty on it, but they never made any improvement in the problem. Obviously there is a leak in the system somewhere, but they always denied it and said there was no problem.

My 4 1/2 year old Sony camcorder was unable to power up at all. They were able to safely remove the digital tape as requested (valuable home video). As expected, it was not economical to repair this older and delicate camera because of a whole assembly needed, but they did provide the option. Walking by this shop is deceiving. Looks like just a vacuum repair shop. The have a technician specific to the camcorders. It took longer than expected to get my camera back but it was returned in perfect order.
