Panda Plastering & Stucco

It's not often that I find a business worthy of a 5 star review, but Nestor and his team certainly deserve it. Don't get me wrong, not everything was perfect or done exactly how I wanted it, but that's how life goes on any major project. What matters is how well your contractor works with you to get it as close as possible to perfect, and Nestor did exactly that. He took the time to go over all of my questions during the entire process, he worked with me on the scheduling conflicts with the other trades and the inspections, and he went above and beyond the scope of work on more than one occassion to make sure that this job got done in a way that made me happy and still looked good. One time they all came out on a Saturday to finish the lathe even though they don't work on Saturdays, another time, Nestor drove all the way out from Fontanna on a Sunday to put a color swatch on the wall so we could make up our minds, even though he had previously done this twice already with other colors during the week. He never once complained, (to me anyway), even though he was taking his personal time to help us out with our color indecision. I should also mention that this wasn't a simple patch job, they had to strip all of the wood siding from the entire house and garage and then stucco it from the ground up. His crew, Matt and Nick, were also exemplary. Polite and friendly, they hustled to get the job done and they cleaned up every night before they left. Bonus - the dog liked them too. =) The bottom line is I spent a lot of money and I'm very happy with the results and the service I received. Unfortunately, we have other projects in the future that will probably require punching some holes in our beautiful new stucco. When that time comes I will be calling Panda Plastering out to fix it because I know they will do a fantastic job.

These guys are awesome! I found them on Angie's list and called Nestor for a quote on Thursday. He showed up the next morning (Friday) at 8:00am and we had a quote that evening. The price was well under other companies that my general contractor had recommended. They started the started on Monday with the lath. Once we got inspected by the city they came back the following Monday to put the brown. During this time we left out of town on a family vacation (but had a house sitter) so Nestor texted us pictures each day of the work that was done. Once the brown had cured, Nestor contacted me right on time to schedule the next day for the stucco. On the final day, I asked him if he could fill a couple extra cracks and restucco the chimney. This is where their craftsmanship really impressed me. They were able to match and blend the color of the new stucco almost perfectly into the old. If you aren't familiar with stucco work, matching existing color is the most difficult part. Also, the previous contractor had missed the 5 foot chimney on the roof when we changed the color on the house years ago. So until now, we have had an beige house with a blue chimney. Even though this was not part of the original scope of work, Nestor covered the chimney and it looks great! This was just one part in a room addition project we have been doing this summer. I have had to deal with over a dozen different contractors and I can honestly say that I wish they were all as good as Panda Plastering. Fast, responsive estimate...immediately started work...showed up when they said they would and finished on time...all work very high quality...great communication...did extra work without complaint...fair price. BTW these guys commute from Fontana which is about 1.5 - 2 hours from the job site and were on time or early every day.

Called them and left two messages over two days, telling them I was referred by Angie's List. Last message left 6 days ago. I described work to be done. Not even the courtesy of a return phone call. Very unprofessional.

Work was completed as promised. We are very happy with the work. Friendly and professional! We would recommend highly.

Nestor arrived at my house Saturday morning, as scheduled, to remove and replace the stucco in my atrium to match existing stucco. Prior to him coming out he was able to quote the job via text message and photos. His pricing was very competitive and his reviews both on Angie's List and Yelp were excellent. We continued communicating via text until the day of the job. He was polite, very thorough, and took extra precautions to protect the area that he was working in. When he was done, he did a fantastic job cleaning up and hauling off any debris. Nestor also addressed a few areas that were not part of the original quote and did so free of charge. If you need any stucco work done, I highly recommend Nestor (owner of Panda Plastering).

I feel very fortunate to have found Nestor.  He was punctual, polite, and fastidious.  I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs stucco work done.  AAAAA+++++

Andres removed the old stucco, and added a coat of some sort of poly-modified cement
on Wednesday.  It was allowed a day to dry and he came back on Friday and applied the stucco to match
the existing walls.
It looks great!   I am very pleased with the final result, and also very happy that he patched
several extra spots that were not part of the original quote, at no extra charge.
I am happy to recommend Panda,  and would certainly hire them again if I have
any further stucco needs.

We got lucky right from the start when we contacted Nestor at Panda Plastering and Stucco as we needed somone that could handle a number of tasks.  We had obtained several quotes for the work to be done.  One made us feel as though he was doing us a favor, while another couldn't do all aspects of what needed to be done.  
As with the others, we did the research on Nestor and Panda Plastering and when we sat down with him we felt comfortable in our conversations and felt that Nestor showed genuine care in our conversations with him.  Nestor provided us with addresses to recent work he had performed, and that weekend we drove by to see his work.  We were sold.
The Panda team arrived each day and time as indicated previously by Nestor, and when they left, their clean-up was excellent.  His team protected all plants and shrubery with great care.  Our driveway is large enouth to park about 8 cars on it, and it is made entirely of "paver-stone".  This is important in that Panda took great care to ensure that nothing was left to chance in staining the driveway. 
Nestor communicated with us throughout each phase of the work and made sure that he answered any questions we might have.  He provided us with his cell-phone number and insisted that we call him at any time should we have a question or concern.  Though not necessary, Nestor stopped by in the afternoon on several occasions to see if we had any questions.
When done, you could see the excellence in his teams workmanship.  The stucco was applied snugly and uniformly from top to bottom, around the entire house.  I've even had other contractors doing work at the house comment on the quality of the application of the stucco.
We strongly recommend contacting Nestor at Panda Plastering and Stucco for an estimate before settling on anyone else.  I have recommended Panda Plastering and Stucco to several neighbors and I'm sure he will receive additional work.  I will call Nestor first in the future should the need arise.  

Nester and his employee (I believe it is his brother) were very professional and did an outstanding job matching the color stucco and texture. The price was very fair for the work performed and these two were extremely courteous and clean. When they finished you could not tell that I had a contractor on site doing work as the area they used was cleaner than when they arrived. The wall looks great and I would use these guys again. Excellent.  That's my overall characterization of the work that was performed.  Nestor and his team were thorough, timely, responsive, and provided helpful suggestions when needed.  We removed very old siding from the front of our two-story house.  We had Nestor and his team replace the siding with stucco.  The other three sides of the house already had stucco.  So, it was important to us to have the stucco on the front match as much as possible the stucco on the other sides (as well as blend in locations where the new stucco met the old). Nestor was able to get the new stucco on the front of the house to come close to those on the sides but also, in line with contemporary looks, provide a smoother finish.  Also, we wanted to have a trim put around our front window.  We told Nestor.  The next day he came out with foam items that could be put around the window and then stuccoed over.  He did a good job with the trim as well.  We have since painted the exterior of the house.  His work makes the house look great.

He came in cut off the weaken stucco put up new supporting wire. He put up a color coat and finish coat. I was knowledgeable about the processes and the second quote I got was fair. He was very responsive he came out two after I called him to look at the work that needed to be done. I would use him again.

My experience with Panda Plastering almost could have not been better.  The price was reasonable, the work was done very well, and the clean-up and attention to detail was great.  They were able to perfectly match the rough texture of my walls.  I strongly recommend Panda Plastering and Andres in particular for any stucco work you are considering.  You won't be disappointed.

Nestor did a great job patching a hole left from a plumbing repair on the exterior of my house.  He was on time, courteous and completed the job in a timely manner at a fair price.  He was also able to match the stucco perfectly with the rest of the house.  I will definitely call him again for future repair work.

Nester was punctual, responsive, efficient and delivers quality work.  If he is running late, he will let me know.  There was no surprises at the end.  We agreed on the work and a price and everything worked out as I expected.  I thought Nester and his staff was very polite and professional as well.  They try to understand my need and resolve concerns immediately.I would use his services again and would recommend Panda Plastering to my friends and family.  Thanks Nester - keep up the good work!

The experience with Panda turned out to be a fairly pleasant one, after dealing with other contactors throughout our renovation process it was refreshing to have a pretty painless process with the Stucco Job.  The Stucco project was completed in a timely manner and the results were favorable. Prior to begining the final phase of applying the Stucco, Nester applied a swatch of colors on our wall to help us make a decision on the final color. Nestor helped guide us through the process and was responsive to our inquires.  At the end of the project there was some slight color corrections that needed to be done in which Nestor gladly addressed and fixed. Overall we were satisfied with the results and happy we chose Panda.

Outstanding service, on time, great job and would highly recommend.   Very pleased with the work and price.

Although the wood siding only covered the top portion of the exterior walls, he re-stucco'd the entire length of the wall so when painted, it would look uniform and even.  The house looks A LOT better than it did and it hasn't even been painted yet!  I would defintely recommend Panda Plastering.

I did not want to go with a general contractor as they would have to take their share (more expensive) and then I would have to deal with them if there was a problem.  Nestor Guaderrama (the company owner) is primarily a stucco company.  He and his assistant did an excellent job for below the quoted price.  Nestor was polite, professional and did more than I expected.  I would definitely want to hire him again for any stucco work in the future and would highly recommend him to others.

We did a complete remodel of our home and we were fortunate with some Sub-contractors and unlucky with others.  Nestor took pride in the work that he did, which is very rare today where most contractors just want to rush through the job and get paid.
