We all know it's a common joke:  Contractors have a really bad reputation with regards to getting them to call back.  You would think that they get it by now.
I inquired about an estimate for a complete patio cover replacement, through Angie's List, and did not hear back.  So I called.  When the receptionist answered the call she told me the person who has the login for Angie's List is on vacation.  I replied with my dismay that this wasn't a very good plan.  She came back with "Things happen."  
Really?  So when I have a customer service issue I can expect to get a reply of "Things happen"?
Things DO happen... and in this case it's called "Missed Opportunity"... to the tune of over $10,000.
Maybe next time the keyholder goes on vacation, they should delegate the responsibility of monitoring the Angie's List messages!

Phil designed an insulated patio cover for our rear yard that was competitively priced. Made of Alumawood, it was beautiful, strong, and low-maintenance. The patio cover also included drains and two light strips which provided four lights and hookups for two fans.

His installation team was friendly, hard-working, and professional. They also installed the two outdoor fans that we had purchased. They were careful not to damage our property, keeping any mess to a minimum. They always cleaned up after each day?s work. We felt comfortable with them at our home. Their workmanship easily passed our city?s very rigorous code requirements.

We now regularly relax under our patio cover where we enjoy protection from the sun, the breeze from the fans, and the lights at night. We are pleased to recommend Rooms ?N Covers for patio cover needs.

They were absolutely, 100% perfect. They didn't rush the job, they took three days for concrete work and after letting it cure correctly they did another 3 days of putting up a very large patio cover. They took their time, all the measurements were correct, all the fittings were correct all the drainages were correct and everything about it was correct. It was so perfect that when the building inspector came out he was amazed. The work was done on January and it costed about $17000 in total.

The salesman who provided the estimate was knowledgeable and professional. The estimate was fair and the crew that did the demo and installation did a great job. Permits were included and they did some electrical work and hung three ceiling fans. No complaints.

They did a great job.They took care of all of the permits that were needed and were also pretty quick with it. They were able to get the cover completed in two- three days. I had three estimates and I chose them because they were willing to price match the other companies and gave us a better value. They also had more experience.

Contacted them for an estimate. Gentleman was professional and courteous. Quite knowledgeable. Did not apply pressure. Afterwards I did not receive follow up harassing calls as I did with other companies that I established using the Los Angeles County Fair. Did not use them due to the service and knowledge from one of their competition was just slightly better. Still would not hesitate to recommend them. |

Sales man was terrific. Listen to what I wanted, made suggestions. Office staff was friendly and always willing to help. Men who did the work were excellent. Suggested concerns about certain things as the work was being done and made adjustments where we agreed. So glad! Quality was absolutely wonderful. Electrician did a great job putting in fans and making the electric lines look good on wall outlet.

Rooms and Covers did a fantastic. Every I worked with Rooms and and Covers were very nice, and did a great job. I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking for patio or concrete work.

Every person that we dealt with at Rooms and Covers was friendly and professional. From the sales guy, the guys who demolished and removed the old deck, the guys who poured the cement, the guys who installed the new cover and finally the elctrician...they were all exceptional to deal with. All of the workers were on time and professional. This was a dirty, messy process at times and there was a lot of clean-up that had to be done. These guys picked up all debris and swept everything clean between each stage of the process. I had questions and concerns during each phase of the work and they all took time to tell me what they were doing and answer all of my questions without hesitation. They were all highly qualified in what they did and each phase of the work was done perfectly. Even the girls in the office who handle phone calls and permits were a dream to deal with. They have even offered to help me with a permit problem that arose during this process but is unrelated to this project. I have absolutely no complaints and I highly recommend them!

We had a 12 x 33 foot sun room added to the back of our house. One wall is solid and the other two are windows. The roof is raised slightly so it is very nice. We had a heater /AC put in which works amazingly well. We also have two fans.

They are very good. I would like to give them all "As." They were professional. They were very quick.

We were very pleased with them. They were on time and they completed it in a reasonable amount of time. We had no complaints and everything passed the city inspection. There were no problems and everything turned out perfectly.

IT WAS A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. THEY'RE JUST VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY DIDN'T DALLY AROUND. THEY JUST DID THEIR JOB AND LEFT. WHEN WE GET OUR FRONT PORCH DONE, WE'RE GOING TO GO BACK TO THEM.

ROOMS N COVERS WERE ON TIME, AND FRIENDLY. THEY MADE GOOD USE OF THEIR TIME. THE WHOLE PATIO ENCLOSURE WAS COMPLETED IN LESS THAN A WEEK. THEY DID A GREAT JOB.

MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH INSTALLERS MEASUREMENTS AND WORK EFFICIENCY. HAD TO COME OUT SEVERAL TIMES DUE TO IMPROPER INSTALLATION. OWNER DID NOT WANT TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS.

THE WORK THAT THE COMPANY DID WAS SUPERB, HOWEVER THE LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR SCHEDULING WAS JUST DOWN RIGHT AWFUL! THE OFFICE WOULD CALL US WITH A DATE TO BEGIN WORK, AND THE PERSON PERFORMING THE WORK WAS NOT AWARE OF THE COMMUNICATION. NO FOLLOW UP WAS PERFORMED AND WE HAD TO DO ALL THE CALLING TO ENSURE THE WORK WOULD BE DONE PER OUR CONTRACT. IT WAS AWFUL.
