Called and asked for a quote to replace my windshield. He quoted me a fair price and said he could install it for me while I waited. I made an appointment and was in and out in about a half hour. He was even able to replace the parking permit I had on the old windshield! On another note,I thought it was great that he had his son there and was teaching him the trade.

Rio came through with flying colors again. I have a collector car that I'm very picky about. As it often goes in Southern California, a pleasant day out for a drive can end up with a cracked windshield if you travel on one of our freeways. That's exactly what happened to my girlfriend and I as we were cruising along I-10 with the top down on my Roadster collector car. I was SO bummed!!! Rio had already come through for me with my rental car (SUV)..replacing the windshield on-time and on-budget - as promised. So, I wanted to give him first shot at my beloved Roadster. He gave me options...genuine manufacturer price; and a very high quality OEM glass manufacturer named "Pilkington"...for less than half the price. Knowing that it's just a matter of time before I would have to replace the windshield again...due to the excessive amounts of semi tractor trailers on I-10, I decided to go with Pilkington Glass. We were going to Disneyland, so Rio kept my car in his secure garage overnight and allowed me to pick it up on Sunday between 10 am and 2 pm. I came back on Sunday and Rio had done an excellent job replacing my windshield...even down to peeling off the parking permit sticker and putting it on the new windshield! He asked me to come in his shop because he wanted to show me something. I went in and he showed me the original, cracked windshield he took off and it had the original manufacturer's initials on the glass but on the opposite side of the windshield was the Pilkington name! It was exactly the same windshield minus the Manufacturer initials...which would have cost me over 200% more money! I trust Rio, he is an honest man...and it does my heart good to see him working with his young teenage son, teaching him the trade. On another note, Rio noticed my passenger door had difficulty opening. He took the time to figure out what was wrong, found the part that was causing the problem and asked if I'd like to have him fix it...uh, YES! The part is on order and $75 will fix a year's worth of hassle for me and my girlfriend with that pesky door! Thanks again Rio!

My family and I were on vacation. We ultimately drove 2700 miles but while driving through Utah, a rock hit the windshield of the SUV we were renting. We had declined coverage as our insurance carrier covers rentals. However, we were pressed for time and asked the rental agency if we could use our own provider...after some negotiation, they agreed. I found Rios Auto Glass on Angie's List and he was close to the rental car return at Ontario airport. I called, Rio quoted $235 and he would have it completed by 1:00 pm. We had to turn the vehicle in by 3:30, so we trusted Rio to have it done on time. He finished everything on time and saved us lots of money. Our experience was very pleasant and Rio was a man of his word.

I have used Rios for more than five years and they have always done a fast and professional job.
