We first went to the storefront to look at samples and the sales associates were very helpful in directing me in the right direction with my personal tastes.  I didn't really know what I was looking for but I did know what I WASNT looking for and with that the associate was able to show me samples of carpet that I did like and want.
We scheduled an in-home appointment for the next day to get exact measurements.  They were timely, professional and knowledgeable.

The workers showed up on time and had all of the necessary materials.  The laminate flooring was done first, then the bedroom carpet was put down, but there were a few glitches as the work was being done.  The first was when the baseboards were being put in.  I told the contracter that I would paint them and his workers would install them.   As I was painting, I noticed that they weren't the same.  I was frustrated by this and told the installer to put the ones that didn't match in places were they wouldn't be seen; i.e. behing the couch, etc.  The second thing was after I was finished painting the baseboards, one of the workers messed one up and then told me I had done it!  Amazing.  I fixed the ding and they were installed.  The third  problem  was with the carpet.  No one came to my house to measure for the carpet because they said that I could do it.  The contractor's wife told me that this wasn't a problem and told me how to measure.  I did exactly as I was told, but apparently it wasn't correct because the carpet installer had issues and even asked the contractor over the phone who had measured.  I told him I did and he seemed annoyed that they had not done it themselves.  The carpet was installed nonetheless.  After everything was complete, I noticed the problems.  After about a year, the baseboards began to crack and the laminate flooring began to lift and push against itself, leaving the appearance of a floor that had water damage underneath.  I spoke with a plumber thinking that I had a leak under the floors, but he told me that the pushing of the boards was due to poor installation.  One other thing that the workers did that looked awful was they covered the nails of the baseboards with an off-white flat paint after I had painted them with a beautiful oil based paint.  To this day, I look at these spots that are all over my baseboards along with the many cracks in them. Finally, they also gave me the name of a guy to install some tile in a small bathroom downstairs.  He did a horrible job and the grout is coming out to this day.

I remember being in their showroom before all of this started and hearing one of the owners of the company tell one of the workers, "do a good job, that's a big house.'  I should have taken my cue from that.  If you have a big, expensive house, they'll do a good job, but for smaller homes, don't worry so much about it.  I guess those of us with smaller homes won't bring in enough business for them, but if you're rich and have a big house, you'll get the proper work done.  Do not use this company.
