In all the years of hiring gardening services Martin Garcia's is the best, polite, efficient, and professional. He arrived on time, got the job done quickly and stands by his work. Without question he will be the service we will return to for our gardening needs.

This was a top notch experience. He was on time and nice. He explained all the work he was doing and didn’t leave until I was clear on how my new timer worked. I appreciated how thorough he was. Great experience!

Basis for My Evaluation:  My review is based entirely upon (1) my personal observations of the work performed by Mr. Garcia and his team and (2) my personal interactions with Mr. Garcia and his team.

This is the first online review that I have ever written and posted on any website, but I felt moved to do so because of the superior service that we received from Mr. Martin Garcia and his team.

Overview and Timeline of Events:

• Services Needed:  My husband and I were in desperate need of lawn-care services (for example, one-time yard clean-up including removal of overgrown weeds, tree-trimming, raking and disposal of leaves and other debris, etc.). 

  
  
  

• I logged on to the website, Angie?s list and read numerous customer reviews about lawn care companies posted by other members.  Based upon the reviews I read and the assigned ratings, I contacted several lawn care companies, one of which was Garcia?s Gardening Services, Inc., owned and operated by Mr. Martin Garcia.  To my surprise, several of the other companies that I contacted (and left voicemail messages) either (1) did not return my call or (2) did not return my call promptly, contacting me four to seven days after leaving a message with my request.  However, to complete the research process, I met with and obtained estimates from other lawn care companies.
  
  
  
  

• On Monday, August 10, 2015, I contacted Mr. Martin Garcia (Garcia?s Gardening Services, Inc.) to describe our needs /the work we were requesting.  During our initial call, we scheduled a mutually convenient time for Mr. Garcia to come to our home and evaluate our yard.   The yard evaluation was scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10:00 AM.  I also asked Mr. Garcia to provide proof of insurance at the time of our home visit / yard evaluation.
  
  
  
  

• On Saturday, August 15, 2015, Mr. Martin Garcia was very punctual and arrived at our home on time and immediately provided me with proof of insurance coverage, as I requested.  He walked our entire yard (front, back and sides), took notes and later provided us with an estimate for his services.

• Based upon our research, Mr. Garcia?s estimate was extremely fair and competitive based upon the size of our yard, the amount of work to be performed and quotes obtained from other lawn care companies.

• After meeting with Mr. Garcia, we hired Mr. Garcia (Garcia?s Gardening Services, Inc.) to perform the services and scheduled the work for Monday, August 17, 2015.

• On Monday, August 17, 2015, Mr. Garcia and his team arrived at our home by 9:00 am and began work on our yard.  What I found particularly refreshing was the fact that the owner, Mr. Garcia, not only directed the work of his staff, but he also rolled up his sleeves and performed work alongside his team.  Mr. Garcia and each of his team members displayed a wonderful work ethic.  They worked tirelessly to complete the work we hired them to complete. Mr. Garcia demonstrated his commitment to quality work by asking if we were happy with the work performed prior to accepting payment for his services.  Mr. Garcia and his team took pride in their work and in today?s marketplace, that?s a wonderfully rare find?sadly, I just don?t see/experience that as often as I used to.

Conclusion:  Overall, my experience with Garcia?s Gardening Services, Inc. was an extremely positive experience.    Based upon the initial work performed on our yard and the wonderful results, I have hired Mr. Garcia and his team to perform ongoing yard maintenance to ensure that our yard does not revert back to its previous state.

I called Martin from Angie's list and he was very prompt in coming for an estimate. He's very reasonable and competitive and was able to set up a time if I was interested in hiring him. I was looking at other gardeners and prices and decided to go with Martin. He will be charging me 60.00 per month and will b cutting my lawn every two weeks. I am pleased with his work so far.

It went really well. They put a timer on our drip system and changed all sorts of heads. They even mowed around everything.

Martin has a very good rating on Angie's List. That's why I prefer him fix the multiple issues I have in my back yard. At first, I really like to deal with Martin. He seems nice, honest and professional and was able to fix the issue of my back yard by installing a water pressure regulator.
I was going to ask him to do more work, including remove old lawn and grade/level/install new tall SOD, install new anti siphon valve, plant assorted shrub, and trim small queen palm trees etc. The estimate he provided to me for the additional work was $3,400. Since the price for the services is over my budget, based on the breakdown cost for the service in the estimate, I would like to postpone installing the SOD grass ($1,700) and do it step by step so that I only need to spend $1000 for the things that I had immediate need to fix. Then I emailed him back and didn't get any response. I texted him and finally got his response that he told me he is very busy and won't be able to do the job for me. I told him that my work is not that urgent and I can wait because he has done a good job for me in installing the water pressure regulator and he has a very good rating in Angie's List. All his reply is just a and quot;Thank youand quot;. I was really disappointed by his attitude. I think probably I postpone the work that he has the most profit in the project.

Chris and his crew arrived on the date agreed upon (which isn't always the case with providers) and provided quality work. Chris was helpful and answered my many questions. I am extremely pleased with the work performed and would use their services again.

We had numerous weeds, trees, and major plumbing issues. He removed the dead trees, trimmed the good trees, and added over 100 plants, flowers, and shrubs. He repaired all of our broken sprinklers, valves, pipes, and made it look very professional and clean. He was on time each day, showed up when he said he would, his guys were friendly and clean, and they went above and beyond any of my expectations.
My neighbor has since hired Martin, and i've already referred him to numerous other neighbors. He's a great guy, very fair, and very detailed.
I would highly recommend him, and I can't say enough good things about his work!

He is wonderful, professional, punctual, HE CALLS BACK and WORKS WITH ME on times of service. My other gardener did not do that which is why I fired him. I am very happy with him and Angie's List.

Martin and his employees have a clean-up service and visited our home for 3 bi-weekly maintenance services this far. They are great! They are on time, call us if necessary, and our yards look great.

Workers did a good job. The yard looked great when they finished. I have only one complaint. They broke two sprinklers and didn't tell me. It was an easy fix, but I would have appreciated a heads up. The yard was overgrown and I can understand not seeing the sprinklers. I just wished they would have told me. I found out when mowing the lawn.
