Floyd's a very honest and dependable handyman. We use him any time we need random work completed and he's always done amazing work.

We changed our minds and wanted more lighting in the living room than we originally thought which raised the price from our original quote, but he worked with us on the price and I thought it was fair. Even after he had to raise the price, it was still lower that what another guy quoted us. And he included the cost of the materials in his quote, the other person that gave us a quote didn't. I like that he includes the cost of materials and picked them up for us and he can do electrical and plumbing installations. He is your one-stop shop.

Wow, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer gentleman who is a great handyman, and makes a great team with his son.  Floyd was very responsive, professional, knowledgeable, clean, efficient and thorough.  He does great work at a fair price.

I initially called him out to do some small electrical work for me.  He did such a great job, I asked him to come back and replace the main water shutoff valve for me, replace two bedroom doors with casing and also install the baseboard. 

Running out of time for my project, I asked him to come out and install a ceiling fan in the bedroom, and also replace the kitchen counter sink.

I am very happy to say that I have found a terrific local handyman who does great work at a fair price.  I would not hesitate calling him out  to do more work, or referring him to any friend or person in need.

Everything went really great - took them 1 hour.  I was quoted $75.00 per hour per  man.  I was prepared to pay $150.00. When it came time to pay, Floyd stated he had to take my fence to his friends dumpster and there would be additional driving time for him.  I was originally quoted that fence haul away was included.  Needless to say I paid $300.00. Beware of costs that he could incur after he leaves job site.  I feel like we would of used them for future projects but probably not now.

Floyd and his partner arrived on time, did all the work perfectly and were very respectful of our business environment.  We highly recommend him and will use him on future projects.

At first it seemed ok-they did several things..but there was a problem with one of the items fixed. He came and fixed it-but it did not stay fixed...after that, he would not respond or come back to make it right. His price was high, but seeing that he was willing to do the work right then, I went with him. He says and quot;no job too smalland quot; This is not true, I had several other items to fix and he was only interested in the bigger in-out job. He was simply not interested in about 5 other things I needed fixed. His son was friendly, but he was not. I would not use him again or recommend-he did not really seem to be all that interested in the few small jobs I had and basically was very abrupt and as I stated, he did not come back and fix the drawer that is still broken-he suggested I get someone else. We never even used the drawer, before it was still broken. For what he charges and for what he does, he is not a good value for your money.

Floyd and his son Chad were wonderful! Very nice and polite, awesome skill and professionalism. I had tried and tried to get some handyman to come and install the awning and had no luck at all with the and quot;Porchand quot; service recommended to be by Lowe's where I bought the awning. I like Lowe's fine but had a no luck with any kind of response from that group. First time I called Floyd from Angie's list he called me back that evening and came the next day and it was just great. That gate was so hard to use -almost not possible when it rains and the wood swells and now it is like a new gate and I love the little awning. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I would surely call them again with complete confidence. What a blessing they were to me.

first thing the next morning and came out the same day.
I have having a problem with a water leak causing damage
from an upstairs bathroom.

They came in and went right to work trying to find the problem.
After a little bit of investigation, they were able to figure out that the Wax
Seal on the toilet wasn’t set properly and was causing the water leak.

They were able to replace the Wax Seal quickly and where on
their way with my problem fixed in under an hour.

Very reasonably pricing and super easy to work with.

IT WENT VERY WELL

MR HARRELL PREVIEWED THE PROJECT, TOOK THE MEASUREMENTS AND WENT TO LOWE'S HARDWEAR STORE TO GET THE MATERIALS. .HE RETURNED WITHIN ONE-HALF HOUR. HE AND HIS ASSISTANT WORKED FOR TWO HOURS WITHOUT STOPPING AND CLEANED UP THE WORK AREA. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED ON TIME AND ON BUDGET

Floyd and his son are simply the best. You will love them. They do great work and are very professional.

It turned out really well.

Floyd called me about the planned screen replacements and told me to try to call another place to do them, because he doesn't like to replace aluminum screens. The other man was very nice and said the same but than recommended me to take my screens to ACE hardware, who also turned out to be way less costly! I ended up taking there way more than first planned to let redo because it was so much cheaper, I was told prices on the phone! They were done in 2 days! Floyd would have charged me $ 175.00 for 4 screens to repair. I paid $ 130.00 for 7 and 1 was even with new frame! One was the frontal screen door and two were very long entry window screens. When Floyd arrived with his son and heard that the screens were done, he said the price would be $ 450.00 but when they were finished around noon, he said there was more work with painting and added $ 75.00 to the bill, so I paid $ 525.- which was for 4 hours work they were here both working. I had bought the paint and varnish, Floyd brought the concrete mix and the supplies for the basement screen frame.
My first disappointment was when the laundry line stand was way too high, Floyd apparently asked my husband how high, instead of me! My husband never hangs laundry I said, I do!! My husband had to change it the next day to my own proper height!
Than 1 day later when I wanted to put back the screens on the 3 windows (the 4th has actually a window airconditioner in it so there wasn't as much painting on it), neither of the windows could be opened all were stuck from the painting, my husband tried them too and in the end called Floyd to come out. They came the next day and the son started to cut up the paint to free the windows, and tried a crw bar too, when the windows were finally open, we helped from the inside and I wanted to hang the screens on them, the son suddenly said that won't work, because he apparently removed ALL HARDWARE for my screens on all windows! Why on earth I thought, and why not ask before removing anything and throwing it away?! Floyd went to look for it in the trash first because they apparently thrown it away too but than Floyd went to the hardware store to buy new sets and his son installed them again so I could finally hook in the windows screens. It took them 1 hour to finish that job and no, they didn't charge me. We do have windows screens on all windows which can be opened.

I've used Floyd in the past and call him for all my handyman needs. He is dependable and very honest. Always shows up as scheduled and on time.
