Garett is 100% professional and knows his stuff. He readily explained all our questions, how his suppliers worked, how the different makes of AC compared. Everyone in the company is very responsive, courteous, and easy to work with. The job was done a little ahead of schedule, actually, and this during the hottest July and August on record with lots of pressure on them to make schedule.

Brian arrived on Friday afternoon, on time. Spent about 30 - 45 minutes assessing the problem and diagnosed it as a bad inducer motor. He had to order a replacement inducer assembly so he came back on Tuesday morning to install the unit. He noticed that the airflow from the vents was low, so he adjusted the blower and replaced a bad blower capacitor. Brian recommended that we have the air ducts inspected since they looked like they might be leaking. Overall, we were very satisfied with his work and professionalism.

Generally well, with a few minor miscommunications about what was included. Some work was not initially completed and required additional visits by Thompson personnel. Technicians were courteous and professional and the system operates very well.

Very well. Very hard workers the entire time. Cleaned up all debris and took away old units. Had problem with a/c unit stopping about 2 weeks later. Caled us back right away and came out next day to repair (minor wiring issue )- .no problem . Would recommend

Brian came out on time and found the problem quickly even with my lack of knowledge on how to explain where/what was wrong. He located a replacement for the circuit board and was able to install same day.

I had a very good experience with them. ?I had no way of really comparing, but I thought the guy did a very good job.?He was very polite.?My motor was about ready to go, and that cost me about $450.

Excellent customer service and installation Cannot thank Nate and Jeff enough- they are my heroes!! Saved my sanity by working in this horrible heat and installing 3 ductless mini split air conditioning units in our home over past two days. They didn't leave until everything was hooked up, cleaned up and gave us instructions on its use

Everything went very smoothly. The crew was respectful of our house and kept everything neat and tidy. We noticed an immediate improvement in the effectiveness of our AC, since cooled air was now actually getting through to each room, rather than being lost in the attic due to deteriorated ducting.

The office staff was very kind & responsive. I explained that I had an older unit that was currently running but that I had concerns that it might not hold up for the entire season. I hadn't had any servicing done for at least two years. Veronica booked me in. Unfortunately, my first appt had to be cancelled due to an unusually long call with the customer just before my time slot. Both the technician & the office contacted me with apologies & immediately reassigned my job for the next available time. Vincent was my technician. He was friendly & professional. As it turned out, a part in the unit was beginning to show serious wear & Vincent took the time to replace it. He cleaned up the unit & got everything up & running again after the small repair. I was so pleased with the service i received that I contracted with Thompson's to return in the fall for my furnace to be serviced. A good company! Thank you Angie's List for helping me find them.

Awesome! Garett the owner came out to give me a bid. I had already had several other companies come out so I knew what cost should be. They gave me a very competitive bid. I liked Garett, he was very easy going, no pressure and I felt like he was being open and honest. Because of Garett, I Idecided to go with Thompson Heating and Air. The guys that did the installation were very professional, prompt and did a great job.

I was really pleased with Thompson Heating and A/C. I talked to Garett, the owner, when I called and he outlined the options I had for replacing my old A/C. Darrell came to the house to survey the work and prepare an estimate, which I though was fair and reasonable. Nate and Jeffery, the installers, were very courteous and efficient; they completed the installation in one day. Nate showed me cell phone photos of their work and I was very impressed. When they finished, I told them they did a great, outstanding, and fantastic job and I meant it. Everyone at Thompson A/C did an outstanding job. You can’t beat them.

We have gotten a few estimates, and Thompson has been the most professional and knowledgeable of all. Even the SDG&E guy wrongfully assumed our air conditioning was 5 tons, as did all the other contractors, but Thompson investigated and found out that we have a proper 3.5 tons. One contractor was low-balling, and I learned that his estimate did not cover the permit process, and without that, we could be up a creek if there was ever an insurance problem. Thompson has been in business locally for I think since the 1980's? For now, it is just a matter of convincing my husband to go ahead, as space heaters are not going to be adequate soon. I will update once the work is done. Update: They did a great job, were always polite and neat, and handled and explained the permit process. I highly recommend them.

I came across this review page by accident, as I am looking for a general contractor now for flood work. Maybe I should contact Thompson for advice? I was so pleased with their honesty, professionalism, consideration of our family needs, neatness and cleaning up after themselves, and willingness to answer questions and provide all financial material that was relevant. I contacted a couple other companies, and was less than pleased with pricing, honesty, reputation and professionalism, as well as longevity, plus they were local. I am very happy Thompson did the work, and I know I can contact them if there are any questions or issues. The new thermostat is so much easier to use, and it is easy to adjust more accurately, as well as set it depending upon our plans. My husband paid the bill, and I don't have the receipt in front of me, so I am guessing at what we paid, but I believe it is accurate. I don't have the exact date in front of me, but recall it was done this summer.

WOW. All I can say is WOW. These guys are so professional and their work is exceptional. It was raining and they still showed up to do the job with umbrella in hand. Job was completed in a timely fashion and couldn't be happier with their service. Highly recommended!

It went well. Matt made a thorough inspection and explained our options. Their price was higher than another bid, but that bid proposed a lesser extent of work, so it's hard to evaluate the competitiveness of Matt's bid. That's the only reason our rating wasn't straight A's. We decided to go with Thompson because we've been happy with their work before. Jeff and Nate did the work. They were polite, personable, respectful of our home, and cleaned up the job site well both days. At first they thought it was a one-day job but when it became apparent it would take two days, they made sure our system functioned over the weekend. We are pleased with the results.
