SOUTHWEST SKYLIGHTS

We have had leaks since he has done the work. He has created all sorts of damage due to a repair that he completed improperly. We now have to do inside skylight and wall repair, and outside rot repair directly because of the skylight leak.  He was so rude to me yesterday when I called him about it. He keeps blaming the roof layout and the wind and we haven't been able to get any resolution.  He created these problems and made the problems worse. It is going to cost 2000 dollars plus to repair the outside damage this has caused. He keeps giving us excuses for the poor work and not taking responsibility for it. He just did not do his job properly and has been difficult to deal with.

Great. Steve is very knowledgeable, knew exactly what had damaged the previous skylights, evaluated the frames and mechanism to make sure he could replace them in their existing frames, showed up on time with a very professional crew, and did the work carefully. Used updated materials to avoid a repeat of the problems with original skylights, lubed and adjusted the openers. Was very careful to drape everything in the house to keep dirt and debris out of our closet and bedroom. Very satisfied.

Steve is extremely experienced (> than 20 years) and his expertise really shows; I am extremely pleased with the skylight that he installed. My bathroom has no window so the light and the ventilation that the skylight provides is an unbelievable transformation of the whole bathroom and adjoining area. Steve and his two associates arrived at approximately 7:30 am and were completely finished by around 3 pm. They installed the skylight in a sloped ceiling and caused no damage to the roof. I would whole heartedly recommend Steve to anyone who is even remotely thinking of a skylight. Steve's estimate was right on target and he gave me a realistic idea of what the skylight would do for the room. At the end of the installation, the skylight really looks like it had been there since the beginning!! Steve also gives a lifetime warranty against any leaks from the skylight.

VERY NICE & RESPECTFUL TO WORK WITH. DID LOTS OF EXPLAINING ABOUT STYLES AND OPTIONS IN SKYLIGHTING. PUT SOMETHING IN THAT ABSOLUTELY IMPROVED THE LOOK OF THE ROOM, AS WELL AS, ADDED MUCH NEEDED NATURAL LIGHT. THE DAY AFTER THE SKYLIGHTS WERE PUT IN, IT RAINED, AND THEY DID NOT LEAK ONE DROP.
