I called several window tinting companies on Angies list this morning to do a small residential job.

One company told me there would be a 1/8" gap all around the tiny window I wanted tinted, which pretty much defeated my purpose.

Another guy told me he had a $200 minimum even though the work I needed done was not worth $200 and he lived about 10 min away from me.

Then I called Solar Care.  I was happily quoted a $125 price, (no minimum charge even though this business is about half and hour or more away from me ) and they could do the job today.

An hour later, Gabe showed up and did an absolutely *PERFECT* job.  He not only got as close as he could to the frame of the windows, he put a line of dark silicone around the edges so there would be no gap in coverage and the light would be completely blocked.

YAY !   I am so happy with the quality and price and responsiveness of this company !   I have never called anyone to come out and do work and actually have them show up an hour later and do an absolutely PERFECT job !

I will definitely use SolarCare for any future window tinting jobs and highly recommend them to anyone

We had used Solar Care before with great results a few years ago. This time, a team of two came over exactly at the appointed time. They sized the windows, and gave us a new estimate that was less than the estimate provided over the phone . THey were very polite and went to work. They worked diligently and carefully, and carefully cleaned up after they were done. They also gave us very good advice on how to keep windows from bubbling. They were first rate.

Solar Care did an outstanding job tinting both my car windows and two sets of French doors in my home. They are truly professionals who I would not hesitate to recommend. They did not arrive on time but called to indicate they were slightly delayed due to staffing shortages caused by vacations. I wanted absolute perfection in tinting my luxury car and Solar Care met all expectations in both the car and home. Great company.

They did a great job, I am very pleased. BTW, this was my second time selecting this service provider. I had use them back in 2006 on my company car and they did a great job then as well. In fact I noticed on the driver's window an area of film that was peeling off...I informed them of this and they changed that piece without questions....great lifetime warranty.

Recently moved into our home and found it to be very warm due to heat transfer through the windows. We did not want a big air conditioning bill as we're already warm during November sunny days (temperatures in the 60's and low 70's). We searched Angie's list potential licensed contractors for our tinting project. We were impressed with the 4 we selected to bid ... they all brought something to the party. After evaluating the film choices (manufacturers and product lines) and the services being offered by each bidder, we selected Solar Care as the best option. We were very satisfied with our selection and the work performed.

I called the company and was given a quote over the phone made the appointment for the next day and the install was done on time and for the same amount as was quoted.

I was nervous because my new car is a high-end luxury vehicle. I wanted a very professional job done. The dealership recommended Solar Care and stated that it is the only window tinting business that they recommend. I was happy to see their A-rating on Angie's List and this made me feel much more comfortable. They were punctual and did an amazing job. Well worth every penny.

Estimate was given promptly, work was completed in a timely fashion. Our house was built in 1926, front window is large with detailed classic panes. Two side windows and a living room window were tinted. The technicians were friendly and profesional.

We called SolarCare, and they came promptly. The window person was polite, and gave us a quick estimate. He gave us good advice (do both windows so they don't look bad) and provided a discount for adding the upstairs window. It was not at all inexpensive, but we learned quickly from watching him that Window tinting is physically difficult and time consuming work. He did a very nice job; not only tinting the windows but also cleaning them. He also cleaned up perfectly afterwards. He also gave us advice for windowcare that was helpful, and noted we have a lifetime guarantee if anything should go wrong.
