Robles Professional Housecleaning

Although they came to the property promptly on the same day I called (Saturday), the house was not cleaned well nor to my standards. When the owner left with my credit card number, I was not clear if the charge would be $250 or a little more. I believed at most it would cost no more than $300 for the approximate 3 hours spent on cleaning this small and vacant house. Most of the work was done by one person, and a helper arrived toward the end. On the next Monday I called the owner and asked for an invoice and he said he would email it to me which he never did. However, he did not delay in charging my credit card $460 three days after the cleaning service was performed. Although they conducted themselves professionally before and during the cleaning, after the service the owner did not professionally handle conveying the costs or providing me a receipt/invoice. Also, we had some confusion about the charges because my credit card indicates the company's name is Royalty Group, but on Angie's List the company's  name is Robles Professional House Cleaning.
I would not recommend this company because of 1) quality of the work; 2) exorbitant fee; and 3) unprofessional manner in which charges were communicated to me without an invoice or receipt.

I have used Robles Professional Housecleaning for 6 years. It is a small family business. Alta has been wonderful for the last 6 years. She is trustworthy and reliable. Both my husband and I work from home and when she comes to clean she accomodates our needs by cleaning the office last if my husband has a business call, or starting in the bedrooms instead of the kitchen if we are eating. She is comfortable to be around and I look forward to seeing her on cleaning days. She feels like part of the family. She is quiet when she does her work and never interrupts us, yet friendly and kind when we initiate a conversation.She does a good job at cleaning our home and is very respectful of our belongings. Our things are carefully straightened, nothing gets broken or mistreated or hidden away somewhere! We travel a lot and she is very flexible with the scheduling. She comes and cleans when we are out of town so we come back to a neat and clean home. I completely trust her with our housekey and being in our home when we travel. We are moving out of state and I wish I could bring her with us! I highly recommend her.
