All three projects North County Pavers did for me look beautiful. I thought the price was reasonable for the work done. Every step of the process was smooth. No detail was overlooked. I enjoy looking at the difference the new pavers have made with the exterior of my home.

Ronnie Hemphill and Pompeo were just so wonderful. They made everything easy to understand and communicated what would be done with a clear and precise plan. They were so friendly, yet so professional, and worked very hard to complete the job before the rain came. It looks so beautiful. We could not be happier. Ronnie worked with us on every step of the project from the initial consultation, choosing the materials, starting date and to the final walkthrough when the job was completed. Oscar and his crew turned what was an eyesore of a backyard and transformed it into a work of art!! It was quite obvious that they take great pride in their work. Their attention to detail coupled with their overall experience in this line of work was wonderful to see.

Crew showed up on time and worked very efficiently. They had to work around several rain storms, but still finished within the original quoted time frame. We are very pleased with the results. They left the area very clean.

The overall project went very well. After contacting three separate companies for this work, I selected NCP. I had selected them based on the reviews I had previously read on Angies List, as well as the responsiveness of the owner ( Ronnie Hemphill ). In particular, I was impressed with the working crew, and their lead Pompeo. As a long time professional construction manager, I have overseen many work crews, but this crew worked very well together. Each member of the team worked in a steady and consistent manner, and they all did very good work. I would highly recommend this company. The end product was very pleasing, and there were no problems or delays. We had previously agreed on a time frame, and they met their commitment.

Ronnie and his team transformed our new construction dirt backyard into a work of art. His main asset is his ability to create a design that blends your ideas with his innate talent and experience. Ronnie listens extremely well, but always contributes his vision when it's elicited. He keeps an open line of communication throughout the entire process and always responds in a timely manner. When the work begins, his loyal, responsive crew demonstrates excellent skill. During installation they both carried out our requests on details, as well as sought our input on options. We remained informed every step of the way. The crew was completely professional throughout the entire process!

North County Pavers did an amazing job ! They completed the driveway and entire back yard as scheduled. Ronnie , Pomeyo and the team followed the project from start to finish. They were professional and were always on time as scheduled. Ronnie maintained great communication with us and we just couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend them and if there is any additional paving needed in the future, I will be calling them back.

I got bids from about 10 different companies and Ronnie was the only one who gave me references and locations of his work that I could follow-up with and look at for myself. I spoke with two of his past clients and their glowing review of his company is what sold me the most. His communications skills also surpassed all the competition and the bid was competitive. We did have one moment where our wires got crossed and we didn't get the correct set of pavers delivered. Ronnie took care of the issue and because of his responsiveness, we lost no time nor was there any additional expense to us. His crew did a fantastic job and we are very pleased with the result. If we add any more pavers to our property we won't hesitate to hire North County Pavers again.

From the first time I met Ronnie (the owner), I felt confident in his ability to deliver. He was straightforward and honest and didn't take a "salesy" approach like several of the other companies we got estimates from. His price was also competitive. Our project was essentially a full remodel of our backyard. We had some basic ideas of what we wanted when we began (e.g. get rid of the dying lawn, replace the concrete with pavers, add a built-in BBQ), but Ronnie really helped bring the vision to life -- offering design ideas and product suggestions to make it even better than we could have imagined. When it came to execution, Pompeyo and his team were phenomenal! From demo to completion, they were in our backyard for about 4 weeks and during the whole time they were nothing but 100% professional, helpful and courteous. They knew exactly what they needed to do each day and they executed it with very little input from me (something I greatly appreciated after having to serve as a de-facto project manager on other renovation projects!). They also worked very cleanly--picking up at the end of every day, so my backyard didn't feel like a mess, even when it was in full demo mode. Pompeyo was also always happy to answer my questions and concerns when I popped out in the middle of the day, and the whole team was responsive to any changes that came up along the way. I cannot recommend North County Pavers enough. The work they do is top-notch, and the team is trustworthy, responsive and professional -- really, what more could you ask for?

We waited a few weeks to meet with Ronnie, as we had met with two other contractora and got estimates a bit higher than we could go for with the stone we had our hearts set on. Ronnie managed to get us the right price, was able to bring a plumber on to the project as well. He also coordinated with the electrician we had for a circuit upgrade to a waterfall, and his crew trenched that as part of the project too. We went to take s look at the stone selection in real life,and that was when we really got excited! Everyone showed up on time, worked crazy hard through broken sprinklers and chased leaks, rerouted sprinklers and just jackhammered and dug in the dirt to get it all done. The end results are beautiful, gorgeous, and it sure was a nice reward for a dirty job!

From my very first meeting with Ronnie Hemphill, there was little doubt that North County Pavers would be our choice out of five other companies that submitted estimates. His expertise in helping us select our choice of wall and paving materials, design ideas, and detailed construction procedures made my decision to go with his company very easy. Every aspect of our project was completed faster than we expected, yet the quality of workmanship was beyond our expectations. These guys are the "real deal." Ronnie went above and beyond anything we could have expected. He was at the job site almost every day, through the 3 week process, adjusting the artistic vision as the project went forward. He and his crew worked very hard to bring our vision to fruition. Ronnie won't ever stop until his customer is 150 % satisfied with the finished product. He is super positive, cheerful, and just a delight to work with.

The 4 man crew worked 8 days from early morning until late in the day. They were professional, respectful, artistic and very hardworking. They consulted us when appropriate, which we appreciated. It was apparent they take pride in their work. The forman asked if he could take pictures to show his family. We absolutely love it!

Ronnie Hemphill is everything a professional should be. He comes when he says he will, he gives his customer a fair and unchanging bid on the work to be done, and he sends out a crew of workers who do the work on schedule and precisely as Ronnie's architectural drawing shows it will be done. Ronnie is a gifted designer whose landscape designs are artistic masterpieces and provide both the client and the workmen with exact renderings of what needs to be done and what the final product will look like. Ronnie is one of a kind, and his workers are rare finds.

From the proposal thru the scheduling and the actual construction, Ronnie and his team exceeded our expectations. Their customer focus is top of the mark. At all phases they dealt effectively with our questions and adjustments that we wanted. Ronnie was present at all critical points to assure the finished product was exactly what we wanted (and more). We definitely recommend North County Pavers and will be using them again on other projects we are planning.

Fantastic! One of the things we appreciated about the owner, Ronnie, of North County Pavers is his intention to treat every project like he would treat his own home. It certainly felt like that to us. We talked with Ronnie over several months and it was a real pleasure to work with him, from start to finish. In fact, Ronnie saw the possibilities with our patio re-model much more clearly than we did. Another thing I valued was Ronnie's strong design sense. He was adept at creating visual balance using the paver design and colors as well as helping us make numerous design selections. Basically, we would describe our vision and Ronnie was able to translate it into reality. We added a lot of subtle LED lighting and I'm still surprised how much I truly love the effect at night. He has a knack for describing the work so that we could easily understand what our choices were. We are absolutely thrilled with our new, no maintenance hardscape and highly recommend the experienced team at North County Pavers.

The owner, Ronnie, came out and was able to explain how the work would be executed, broke down pricing, and even suggested a few things that really made a difference in the final product. For example, he suggested to use a different color for the pavers' border and also install a mow strip around the remaining grass, which made the pavers and backyard look so much better. Overall, North County Pavers isn't going to be the most expensive and isn't going to be the cheapest. Ronnie's prices are very competitive with the median and are right where they should be. You could go with a cheaper bid, but you're not going to get a quality product like North County Pavers will provide. I had the luxury of having time off work during the project and was able to watch the majority of the work from demo to install, and can say that there were no shortcuts and everything was done in a quality manner. I can't say enough about how efficient the crew executed the job. As the owner, Ronnie has a lot going on, but he made the effort to check in with his crew and me in person throughout the project. That effort goes a long way, as I knew what was going on throughout the project and Ronnie sees every job as a reflection of his business. The on site project manager, Pompeo, was also great. He would be sure to ask me about any type of specific detail that could practically go either way, to ensure it was done the way I preferred. He even stayed late the last day of the job and ensured everything was cleaned up. Next up will be the fire pit build in a couple weeks. I'm confident it'll come out like I envision, or better. Go with Ronnie and North County Pavers. You won't be disappointed.

In the first meeting we had with Ronnie, the owner, we shared some of what we wanted and he gave us some great creative ideas. The job started several weeks sooner than we expected! All of Ronnie's employees were hard workers. They were prompt, neat, methodical and all nice people. There was a little mix up regarding the size of the stones and when Ronnie found out he had his guys quickly remove the stones and buy and replace them with the correct size. Ronnies supervisor was great (I think his name was Lee). Lee checked on the property often. Lee and Ronnie were always accessible by phone for questions or any feedback. At the end of the process when we wanted something adjusted, Ronnie quickly agreed and made the process easy and smooth. His price was right in the ballpark with other quotes we had received. The quality of their work was absolutely EXCELLENT!! We are very grateful to Ronnie and his staff. We would HIGHLY recommend Ronnie at North County Pavers!

It went very well. The crew worked so hard to get things done, and it was done correctly despite rain delays. We were helped to make decisions about the color of the payment; the owner and assistant came out with paver selections, but we ended up going to the stone yard to get extra ideas. The No. Co. Paver owner was there to help us. The way the pavers were put down actually helped to slow the rain and direct it into the drains we'd had installed. The front of the house is beautiful. We paved the "regular" part of the drive as well as the crescent drive. We had a small wall with pillars added on to mark our driveway entrances and to define a planting area. There are small LED lights indirectly shining downward toward the pavement that look just wonderful at night. The owner of North County Pavers and his assistant helped explain things and offered us options throughout the process. The grade on the driveway was corrected, and the asphalt "lumps" removed. The crew even went out with measuring tapes to check the height of the bottom of my car so it could easily go down the drive way. Now that is customer care!

Ronnie and his crew spoke with us every day, keeping us informed and making sure we were pleased throughout the process. The transformation happened in such a short period of time - these guys are great! At the last minute when the job was nearly completed, we realized that we didn't like our vinyl fence meeting our brick wall. No problem - Ronnie to the rescue! The guys extended our new wall to meet our glass wall. We're so happy with the results!!
