My Handy Guy

Replaced a leaking 50-Gal water heater and hauled away old unit for less than $1K.

He came over right away.

Oscar was prompt, honest and fair.  We had 3 older ceiling fans that he replaced and installed with new units.  The 3rd unit in our home office would not work and he went through the attic to find an electrical problem.  He reworked the power source very quickly and the final unit was up and running.   My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Oscar and he will be our go to guy with any projects we need completed around the house in the future.

He was fine. They came when we expected that they were coming. They did it in a lot less time than we thought it would take. They put down stuff to keep dirt off the hardwood floors. They cleaned up. I think the quality of their work was very acceptable.

Oscar had to go get some angle stops and connectors but after returning he changed out all of the fixtures and replaced everything in a timely manner.  He cleaned up all of the work areas and left everything neat.  We are planning to have him back to do some bigger jobs in the near future.  Oscar was very pleasant and was very respectful.

Oscar was exceptional.  He arrived and went straight to work and didn't stop until he finished everything.  Even when I asked him to do an extra project, he went right to work and finished it.  He was very knowledgeable and had all the necessary tools to complete every project I had for him.  Needless to say, I was very impressed and will definitely use him again.

Oscar took care of about 20 various jobs for me around the house. Wow--he is amazing! Super fast, great price ($75/hour), knowledgeable about almost everything, and with a wonderful positive attitude to boot. I'm going to call him back to install some ceiling fans and light fixtures, and a bathroom fan and vanity. He is absolutely the best and the handyman I've been looking for forever!!!

We actually My Handy Guy prior to our contact on Angie's List but we'd lost touch.  It was a coincidence finding him again, a good one as they're local to where we live and able to give prompt service.

His name is Oscar.  I got him off of Angie's List, but it turned out that it was somebody that I had known before.  He had done a few things for me years ago and then I guess I just lost contact.  I looked him up on Angie's List and he turned out to be the one that responded and came over and did some handyman kind of things for me.  He did a great job.  I'll still call him.  I don't know how much he charged me.  I think I gave him a little bit extra.  He's responsive.  As much as possible, he's here when he says he's going to be here when things do come up sometimes.  Once he starts the job, he finishes the job and that's important to me.  Sometimes handy people leave the job and go to the next one if they have one or two more things to finish up, but he doesn't do that.  He's reasonable.  My mum usually gives him a little bit extra just because it's nice to have somebody that we can depend on and would finish what they start.  He's very knowledgeable about the stuff around the house.  His responsiveness is usually good, but on occasions it has taken a second call.

I called Oscar Monday and he was able to fit me into his schedule on the following Wednesday. He quickly identified the problems and made the repairs.
