I was not disappointed. From the beginning, Joe made sure I understood every aspect of the job. I felt I was always aware of my choices and how they impacted my budget. He seriously considered all of my ideas even when I could tell he thought some were a little "unconventional". His attention to detail was welcome as was his daily humor. His subcontractors were also excellent, professional and experienced. They arrived every day on time and cleaned the work site when they left. I enjoyed working with them very much.
The result was a kitchen I love and an experience that was very enjoyable. I hope to work with Joe and his crew in the near future.
He was very responsive to emails and calls, and was always willing to take time in the morning to go over the project onsite and discuss what was going on. We were on a strict timeline (pregnant) and Joe was always on top of the schedule to make sure the kitchen would be done before the baby arrived.
We thought it was interesting - when we were talking to contractors at the beginning, Joe was the only one who didn't try and tack on additional projects ("We can redo the bathroom too" or "It's be a good time to re-plumb the whole house"). He's obviously confident in the quality of his work, and understands that the best way to get follow-on work is to do an excellent job the first time.
