The work went great. They showed up early each day and worked steadily at the task ( I can tell you that working under a house can not be fun ). Joel got the work done quickly, The work looked good and the floor feels solid. We are very pleased with the work and Joel.

Due to our experience with Joel, we have asked him to look at some other projects we want to get done and hope to use him

Due to dry rot, we were in need of having a  header and joists replaced to repair our deck.  Since the deck planks were an obsolete type of TimberTech composite, care was needed not to damage them while replacing the header and joists.  Green Light did an excellent job meeting all the deadlines.  They finished on time for the agreed upon amount, but most importantly, the finished product looks great and is safe and sturdy with no damage to the TimberTech.  Well Done!!  We will use them again for upcoming projects.

Joel came out one day after my request for bid. He and his team started and ended the project on time. Very professional and a pleasure to work with. Workmanship was excellent,and price was reasonable. I highly recommend Green Light Building.

Greenlight Building Services Inc.  was a pleasure to work with. The first person I was in contact with was owner Joel Rosales, from the main office in San Diego. He informed me that he had an office in Sacramento and had the office staff of the Sacramento branch contacted me immediately.  The company was prompt in getting a consultant to meet with me and my husband.  Sales Consultant Luie Gonzalez was very informative and knowledgeable in fiber cement products.  He was careful to listen to our concerns and wants.  He also suggested some wonderful designs that would make our house unique.  Before hiring Greenlight Building Services Inc. we received a couple other bids from other companies.  The bid we received from Greenlight Building Services Inc. was very competitive in their prices.  We liked that Greenlight Building Services Inc. wasn't pushy or trying to sell us things we didn't need.  The thing that set Greenlight Building Services Inc. apart from the other companies was that they are family owned and operated.  We liked that about the company.    In the end we choose James Hardie Lap Siding.  The installation process went smooth. The installers were also great to work with, they were courteous and professional at all times.  We appreciated the detail and time they took with our home.  They always showed up on time and cleaned up after the workday.  We were pleasantly surprised that Luie would stop by occasionally to check on the process and made sure we were happy.  The whole project was completed in the time frame that was discussed at the beginning. Greenlight Building Services Inc. exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier with the whole process.  Our home looks fabulous. We are receiving so many complements.  We will definitely use this company for future projects.

The work cost was discussed over the phone and verified the next day. I had Painters at the job site so Joel understood the urgency of the repairs and provided advice to avoid costly repairs down the road. Joel got the work scheduled and completed as promised. Joel described the repair work so I knew what to expect so there were no surprises. Some of the damage would not be noticed until actually removing the damaged wood. Joel took pictures as evidence of the repairs for my use and house repair records. Overall my experience was very good.

Green light was very helpful preparing a written estimate of what was left incomplete and not done correctly by a previous contractor and was able to repair and complete my kitchen and bathroom without going over the estimated costs.

Very pleased with the professional, prompt, excellent work. Crew of two people worked all day to get the job done quickly. This was a tricky job because the dry rot from the shelf had eaten into the old masonite siding and everything had to be carefully removed and cut away before building the surface back up and reconstructing the shelf. Several other contractors and painters expressed reluctance at removing the shelf because they didn't think they could patch the siding properly, but Green Light did it right. They are my new go-to resource for dry rot and other repairs. Highly recommended.

The crew showed up on the agreed upon start date - on time and ready to work.  They were positive workers, very easy to get along with.  I was onsite every day.  The general contractor - Louie, did not mind my numerous questions. He kept me involved during the entire repair process.  As with many repair jobs, change orders occurred.  Louie informed me of the changes required to the repairs, the approximate material cost and the labor cost.  He was fair with the updated costs and discussed the pros and cons on moving forward with the change orders.  (mp)
Louie was very detailed with his work.  He took his time with his cuts, made everything look seamless, blending the look of the old and new siding together.  He went above and beyond with this project.  I really doubt if any of the other contractors would have really given our project this type of detailed work and attention. The guys began the work on a Monday and worked through the weekend and finishing up that Sunday evening.
When they were done, we had what appeared to be an Brand New looking bldg.  The new siding really makes our duplex look great!  Our tenants are pleased, the neighbors have continued to commented on the improvements and everyone I show the pictures is impressed with the work.  (As an extra, Louie checked the roof & gutters to make sure we'd be ready for El Nino 2015 / 2016.  Thanks to Louie & his crew of Green Light Building Services. Bill is meticulous.  He won't allow any part of any project to be less than perfect!  He even pointed out to me a difficult tile cut he made behind the toilet that isn't visible, but he would know it was there and refused to take any shortcuts!  His finish work is without flaws--something very important to me and my wife.  He does not hesitate to add to his work load to make a project better.  When removing wallpaper as we planned caused some complication, he replaced wallboard on his own.  Bill is extremely hard working, high energy, easy to get along with and a lot of fun to work with.  If you haven't been involved with a remodel before, you will realize that having a positive relationship with someone who will be spending hours in you home is very important!  Bill did most of the work himself on our projects.  When he did have one of his partners assist, he kept close watch on their quality and schedule.  Bill also offered suggestions before we started and during the projects that would either be an improvement, or would save us money.  Contractors usually aren't know to give advice on style or colors, but Bill did when we asked and he had excellent suggestions.



We did two previous remodel projects years ago with someone else.  I was given the advice that all contractors will disappoint you in at least one of three ways--final price after "changes", quality, or how much time they ended up taking on the project.  I can honestly say that Bill kept on schedule, had a fair price that he stuck to, and only exceeded my expectations on quality on every project he did.

Green Light Building Services has done several jobs at my Sacramento home, the most recent was an emergency installation of a new front door.  I am 85 years old and it was a Sunday afternoon, because Green Light had previously installed 2 windows in my house, replaced the tile in the bathroom, and installed fiber cement on my barn, I had the personal cell phone number of the manager Louie. He came over within 45 min of my call measured the door, and even took me to the store to purchase the door! Although they do not give a senior discount, I highly recommend this company for the quality of work, punctuality, but more importantly the service provided to the customer.
