GLASS AND MIRRORS: In addition to the door replacement/installation Silvano also hung four panels of bevelved mirrors plus a heavy framed mirror. Very pleased with the work all nicely came together. I asked to circle back on another quick request which he did promptly at the first opportunity.

Silvado to the rescue for a crown molding replacement over a new stone fireplace. On time, quick and neat for a small but tricky job we will definitely hire him in the future and highly recommend Excelsior Home Improvement .

Silvano is polite, quick, attentive to detail, neatn and comes prepared to work. Project was a difficult crown molding task. Design Build contractor for our kitchen remodel made connection of crown molding to cabinet crown molding very difficult, because of angles and unlevel installation. Several contractors would not take project. Silvano matched cabinet crown molding in style, dimension, color and finish. Silvano's fee was about 60% of the Design Build contractor's price. I will be giving Silvano additional work.

Silvano and the rest of the crew were absolutely amazing to work with! I had a vision of what I wanted my mantel to look like and Silvano brought it to life and more. I started with one idea in mind and about half way through added 2-3 more projects on and the entire team handled it like champs! I am extremely detail oriented and really appreciated how Silvano listened to exactly what I was looking for and provided step by step details / information so I was informed the entire time. I really appreciated the transparency throughout the entire project. I cannot recommend these guys enough and I cannot wait to hire them again for my next project!!

Silvano and the excelsior team are amazing craftsman and human beings. They are prompt, professional, detailed, friendly, knowledgable, honest, fair, and will definitely help you understand what they are doing. We completed a full downstairs renovation including: bathroom fireplace mantle(custom built by him) baseboards, drywall, texturing, chair rail, door trim, electrical work. It looks absolutely flawless. Silvano goes extremely recommended. We have already rehired him for the upstairs project without a second thought. Came on time and was done with the job quickly. Kept me updated on the project progress and any material delays. I would hire them again.

He missed several areas (holidays) and I had to point them out to him. He did not cover my new floors, counters, light fixtures, or cabinets adequately and got paint on them. I told him in person and in an email that it was unacceptable, but continued to get paint splatter on my surfaces. I did not like that he panted over nails and nail holes, not much prep work He did do some patching in our dining room that was damaged from the demo; that was done well. He removed and replaced the trim on seven doors, including and our front door. The front door trim was cut too wide, and jammed the hinge against the trim and wall, and made a terrible noise. We pointed it out to him, his solution was to cut around the hinges. It looked terrible. He finally replaced this trim when he was here on Saturday, but it still makes noise; I think the hinge is bent. We will need to have someone else fix it. As for the trim on the other doors most are OK but about 3 of them do not line up correctly.He mostly showed up on time and when he said he would. We made the mistake of paying him the last payment before he came back for the touch up. We did not hear from him for weeks and would not answer text or email. If it hadn't been for HomeAdvisor, I don't think we would come back to fix any of these issues.His quote included two coats of paint on all the walls and he did not do this on on all the walls. He just did it were he felt like it (but I paid for two!) His quote included "detailed touch up around windows". I had to show him the terrible paint job around my dining room windows and the patching that should have been completed on two of our other windows.

Excellent, respectful team of workers who did a great job assessing the severity of our huge deck. His pricing was in the middle of the estimates we got, but it was his honest approach that really won us over. The work was done in a timely fashion with little disruption in our work from home situation. We were pleased with the finished work which included replacing a main support beam under the second story deck, and two large support beams in the pergola. Based on that and the photos we've seen of his other work, we will use Silvano for our upcoming major home renovation.

Silvano was fantastic. He gave me just what I wanted instead of trying to talk me into something else. He was prompt, courteous, personable and professional. Not to mention the least expensive quote for my garage side door project. Highly recommended and I would use him again in a heart beat.
