D & J'S PAINT AND GLASS

Before going over to Oceanside, I went to San Diego hardware and found a replacement hinge which was not exactly the same as the one that was broken. They came in various lengths and the hardware store man didn't know which one I should get I called Connie at D&J and she talked to the man at the hardware store and gave advise on the length to purchase. Then I brought the window to D&J to get an estimate of whether it could be fixed with the hinge I bought. Connie took a look and said yes, in fact you could try it yourself. However if we could not make it work, they would still come out on Friday to fix it for us. After we tried it, with some initial difficulty in fitting the window exactly, we were able to fix it ourselves, with some trial and error. So, we canceled the appointment because we didn't need them anymore. However it was really good knowing that they were there ready to help in case we needed them.

IT IS THE LOCAL REPAIR SHOP. MY BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THE LIMITED HOURS THE SHOP IS OPEN, BUT THEY HAVE GOOD QUALITY WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS.
