"Our report included that your pool was leaking and there where many cracks previous repaired with putty patch by the previous home owner. which is not a professional repair method. I informed you that the land was shifting due to lack of a retainment wall and hillside property . I cautioned you on the original test date was that this pool has many structural issues and leaks were active and detected. New cracks can happen at anytime especially within a years time . A year to date later you called me saying you had another leak test done and there where other cracks found about 20 ft in length. I originally gave you a quote for a professional repair which you did not choose for all cracks in the pool . One year later from the original test date which is now 2 years later. I came back for free to provide a temporary putty patch for no charge . I don't not normally provide putty patching. I choose to offer the free putty patching due to threats of negative reviews and to resolve your issues also why I did not charge you for this because it is not a professional repair more of a DIY home owner approach . You mentioned you did not want to do this your self so I offered to do this for you for no charge. The real estate agent who initially called us for the testing and was present for the testing called us shortly after the appointment to apologize to me and my helper for the way we were treated by you during the inspection process which lasted 4 hours. Below is our report provided to you Swimming Pool Inspection : Before you bought the property this report was given to you . No repairs were made by my company Water loss sensor show water loss in the pool with the system on and the system off at a rate over the evaporating rate of 1/4 inch per day. Indicating passive leaks in the pool frame. There are three pool cracks in the pools shell. Roughly totaling 30ft. The cracks appear to have been filled with pool epoxy putty patching. This is not a structural or long lasting repair method. The patching is only covering the surface like a bandaid. $$$ Price Recommend to drain the swimming pool water cut about 4'' to 8" width and chip out the cracks into the pools frame along the length. Inject a hydrophobic structural repair foam into the voids in the pool shell along the crack. Add reinforcing rebar as needed across the cracks length. Resurface with same pebble blend.6 month warranty. With this repair I would patch the front fountains leaks along the front sides of the water retainment basin and the cracks in the back yard water features concrete. This portion of repairs carries no warranty."
