They estimated 3 days and were done, including cleanup in 2 1/2 days. Included full-length ridge vent (not evident from the ground) to replace 2 turbine ventilators. Note that city permit cost was not included in the initial estimate.

He was very nice, and very professional. During the heavy rains we had, my downspout got clogged. The owner came out again this morning, and cleaned it out immediately! He is very pleasant to work with!

We put off getting a new roof for longer than we should have, but I'm so glad we chose Bohemia Roofing. I got a number of quotes that all came in around the same number, but the estimate we received from Bohemia Roofing was far more thorough and took into consideration some elements particular to our house. That showed us they knew what they were doing -- as people who hadn't ever had a roof replaced, we valued that transparency and itemization.
Vashek and Svetlana were professional and courteous, but on top of that, they were kind. They drove sample materials over to us and even came to patch the existing roof ahead of a big storm when we were being indecisive about scheduling. They brought this same level of professionalism to all interactions -- from scheduling, to the crew, the updates and the work done, we couldn't be more pleased. The work was done on schedule, was very thorough and it looks great. They handled everything and did it well, even following up with us to make sure we didn't have any concerns or problems after the fact.

This is an updated review. In the last review, I downgraded this company because of issues with Angie's List keeping the money for their sales person and Bohemia Roofing receiving nothing for their service. Understandably, the Roofing Company was reluctant to provide service without compensation. 
Bohemia Roofing contacted me and offered to perform the inspection and tune-up rather than have a dissatisfied customer.  I am very impressed with a Company that will extend itself to maintain good relations and a good reputation.  I now know that their good reputation is well deserved and would hire them in the future for any roofing issues.
I will also be very careful with the Angie's List people.  It is very deceptive of them to take my money and keep it. Not giving the actual worker any compensation.  Shame on Angie's List.

I bought a house late last year and after dealing with a winter of roof leaks on the original, 20+ year old, three tab shingle roof I
knew it was time for a new roof.  After admiring my neighbor?s new roof for several months, I finally contacted Bohemia roofing in April of 2013.  Bohemia had completed that roof next door a few months earlier.  The owner, Vashek, returned my call promptly and offered to come by to inspect the roof that Saturday in order to accommodate my work schedule.  He showed up on time, inspected/measured the roof, walked me through samples/options and took the time to answer all my questions.  Two
days later I had a complete estimate from him.
Between my busy work schedule, the relief of no more rain and researching roof colors, types, etc, it took me several months to make a final decision on the roof.  During that time I emailed back and forth with Vashek and asked a host of questions (probably 10+ emails) regarding sample roofs for me to look at, pricing on various shingle types, attic ventilation options, etc.  He (and his business partner Svetlana) were exceptionally responsive and professional via email, often responding within
hours or less and never seemed to mind the multiple email questions.  During this time I also met with a few other roofers, mainly to ensure that Bohemia?s pricing was competitive.  I was quite impressed with Bohemia?s responsiveness and customer service relative to the other roofers.
Bohemia completed the re-roof project this summer and the entire process went very smoothly from initial tear-off to completion.  The project was quite complicated, in that it involved a long, steep driveway and a 30+ ft drop from the highest part of the roof.  Vashek and his team worked through multiple, hot summer days and finished the roof within a week, on schedule.  Bohemia even followed up afterward to see if I had any questions regarding finalizing the permit.  Hopefully I won?t be needing any roof work for a long time, but would certainly use Bohemia again.  I was very pleased with the entire process, from initial meeting through the re-roof project and follow-up.

Bohemia Roofing did a terrific job of installing my new roof. Vashek, the owner, is a knowledgeable professional. He came out to my house for an initial visit and described in detail what he planned to do, down to the flashings around the roof penetrations. Afterward, he made himself available via phone and email to answer any additional questions I had. His email response to my follow-up questions were thoughtful and complete.
It took two days for Vashek and Jesus to complete the roofing job. I like that they were comfortable having me watch and take pictures of the process. It made me confident that they know what they?re doing. Vashek did everything as he described and even added extra protection at the rakes at my suggestion. They did a careful and thorough job. They put in two full days but never rushed to get the job done. They even used a magnet to pick up fallen nails!
It was a pleasure to work with Vashek and Bohemia Roofing. He used quality materials and equipment and did an excellent job. I?m sure this will be the last roof I ever have to install. Though I have a smaller house, I wouldn?t hesitate at all to recommend Vashek for a larger or grander home.
