I'm very pleased with the work completed by Darren, he started with providing a very competitive estimate, explaining in details available options, setting a timeline. Very responsive and prompt. Excellent quality of the work completed for a very reasonable price.

They take advantage of an old lady. Good thing that I have found other company who gave me a very reasonable price. Your AAAA QUALITY GARAGE DOOR CO is $12,000 more expensive than the company I have found.
Response from AAAA QUALITY GARAGE DOOR CO
"Sorry [Member Name Removed] you feel that way and so much that you would give such a horrible review. Im glad you got your door done and are happy. I would like to point out I quoted more than one door for you. The most expensive was $1825. The least was $1050. Im not sure what door you ended up with or who you went with but I can assure you there wasn't any trying to take advantage from me!!. I provided you with our regular prices and gave you a discount. You had indicated you already had a lower quote. I said to try to make sure you compare apples to apples. Anyhow we definitely don't deserve a bad review from you especially one that is not true and accurate"

Darren looked at my old garage door and discovered an old spring and and without much todo replaced the broken one. He saw what was needed and just did it on the spot. He answered all my questions and I knew I could rely on his promise to have the work done two days later. Within two days, I had a new door installed. Darren tested it until all was working properly and explained all I needed to know. He was friendly and straightforward, and I would have him anytime to help me out.

Installation went fine. Workman was congenial. We noticed what we thought were dirt smudges after installation but later when I tried to wipe them off I discovered they were areas of missing paint. I'll have to contact AAAA on Monday and see if there is any remedy. I hate to install a new door only to discover the paint is chipped. Does Angie's List have any guarantees concerning such things? I did find AAAA on Angie's List. Otherwise OK, but it is a shock to see a different door there after 27 years with a wooden lift door. Sharon Schneider

Daren called to tell me he was running a few minutes late, gave me a new ETA, and showed up as expected. He did the work quickly and efficiently. He also assisted me in changing the exterior lock PIN . We've been dealing with AAAA since 2009. Daren tells you the truth. He won't push you into things you don't need or can do yourself. We highly recommend AAAA.

I was given two options: replace the door or replace the hardware. I chose to replace the hardware. They were fair, freindly, competent and professional.

Called on Wednesday afternoon for appointment. Appointment made for Thursday 8 am to 10 am. Repair person arrived at 9 am on Thursday, immediately explained what was broken and provided prices to repair or replace. I chose to replace. New lift master was in truck -- Installed and tested in under an hour. Price in my opinion very reasonable. Highly recommend AAAA Quality Garage Door Company.

AAAA quoted $800-980 to replace the garage door. I made a visit to the rental unit and corrected the angle of the photosensor. Six months later there have been no issues.
Response from AAAA QUALITY GARAGE DOOR CO
"We provided a Free estimate for replacement of a door we think should be replaced. There was no work performed there was no cost It was free. Never have we recommended to replace a door because the sensor is out of adjustment!!! It is a professional opinion! There is absolutely no reason to have even risked loosing a business relationship for this kind of behavior especially with a property manager!! Had this person gave us the opportunity to meet and explain to him what the reason was to recommend replacement I likely wouldn't be writing this :)"

This is an example of rare good service. The Service team arrived within the promised window. They were able to provide same day service!  Darren and Matt were professional, and courteous. They troubleshooted on the double door and within 20 minutes had determined a number of problems. Darren knew garage doors; this was very evident from my personal knowledge of adjustment and replacement.  He identified a major problem with the door that only a professional with experience would be able to see.  They provided and installed replacement parts, and then adjusted the spring torsion, roller track and cables, opener force and open/close distance.  All work was completed within one hour. They went through a 19 point service check list and made additonal recommendations and observations without trying to 'hard-sell' additional work. The cost beyond a general tune-up included a very needed spring replacement that I can vouch for was absolutely necessary.  I would use AAAA Quality Garage Door Co. again. I recommend them without reservation. I was very happy with the competitive price, and honest service.

The weather stripping wasn’t lying flat so they came back out to fix that. While doing that something was damaged, so they need to come back out a third time. They were very nice. I’d recommend them.

We got several estimates on replacing our garage doors with ones that we had seen and loved. Wow what a difference it made we just love the doors and the price and service was exceptional.

I'll spare you all the details of the approx. dozen calls between the two manufacturers, another installation company and Diamond Certified.  I hired this company because they had good reviews on Angie's List and Yelp, Better Business affiliation with A rating, and A rating with Diamond Certified.   Foolishly, I thought that meant something, but you can never ask enough questions and trust all the ratings.  My new question to contractors will be "What defects can I expect in the new product".   No customer should have to read the manual and check with so many sources to get a job completed.  This was extremely disappointing.  The only reason I didn't give them an F was because it actually could have been worse, and I did get $150 back.  I learned to never write a check, or pay in full before a job is finished.  They also pulled out a small piece of wood and caused what seems to be minor damage to the support board when ripping out the shelves over the garage door, but said they'd seen those boards in a lot worse shape.  I think an extra 30 seconds of care would have prevented pulling the wood out.  They had a lot of laughs and fun installing the door, and seemed really pleasant to work with; I should have been reading the manuals to check their work before they left - who does that?!  And taking a month and a half to complete the job was very frustrating.  The original price was $1575, and the check was cashed immediately.
Note:  CHI said most panels come with little scratches because human beings are involved.  Liftmaster said the light cover, which is slightly warped, probably came that way because they're made in Arizona and it was hot in March while it was shipped.  They said I could heat it with a hair dryer and reshape it to fit better.  I guess quality is a thing of the past.....
Response from AAAA QUALITY GARAGE DOOR CO
"Unfortunately I was unable to make [member name removed] happy. This was a custom install on an old house and although the job came out perfect in the end there were some mishaps along the way. I apologized for our short comings and refunded some money on an already largely discounted job. I was honest about everything and never tried to deceive her in any manner. I am confident that our product and installation will eventually in time prove themselves to [member name removed] that they truly are high quality . My last contact with [member name removed] was to let her know how sorry I was for our short comings regardless of if I thought they had merit, and to let her know if there was anything else we could do to ease her frustration , to let me know and I would take care of it if possible."
