I would never do business with this company again and here’s why: being TWICE overcharged, not adhering to their advertised covid policy, and carelessness that resulted in damaged items. How they achieved a Five Star Yelp rating with almost 300 reviews should be some kind of red flag. Upon completion on moving day I was given the contract to sign and after seven long hours I had the sense to notice I had been overcharged. I insisted on speaking to ‘the office’ and Rob there said I had been overcharged by $60.00. When my credit card statement came the amount charged was different from the corrected amount that I signed for. I spoke to Rob again who went over the numbers with me and clearly saw I was overcharged by another $123.00. He gave no explanation but said it would be credited the next business day. After a week and no credit, I spoke with Rob again who said he would look into it and get back to me. I have not heard back and am tired of this run around. I decided to go with West Coast moving systems because they had a clear and strong Covid policy on their website and lots of recent high yelp ratings. Their hourly rate is between 15-20% higher than most other companies in my area however they are no better than any other company. For example, If you’re expecting the movers to wear gloves, don’t. I asked and one mover said, ‘it’s not practical because they tear’. Fine. But don’t advertise that you do when you don’t. Another Covid related issue that I found annoying was they were using my tools, tape, and scissors which I tried to keep separate for my personal use. I have moved four times in the last seven years and where the others were hassle free and done, this was the most expensive, had the most add on costs, and two months later, I’m still waiting to be done!

From my initial contact with Natalie to the day of the move with the 3 man crew... all was great.  I only got their quote so I can't speak to pricing but it was well worth it.  They provide at NOT TO EXCEED estimate which is great so you don't get any surprises.  Coordination and scheduling was a breeze.  The morning of the move, the 3 man crew showed up with their truck in the rain.  They worked quickly, but carefully to disassemble furniture, move treadmills, and all of our many boxes.  They even "built" a custom box or two for odd-shaped items.  These guys were awesome and amazing at the act of putting things in the truck safely and securely.  It was like watching someone play tetris.
When they arrived at my new home they quickly unloaded and put things were directed (if not labelled already).  They worked hard even in the pouring rain and slippery concrete.  They completed the job in a bit of time under the estimate.
