Venetian Walls

Todd and his assistant painted the outside of my house. I was familiar with their work because they painted the building were I have my office. They did perfect, extremely thorough prep work, including power washing, patching and priming, and they even helped me select the exact color, as I was undecided about how light or dark to go with my main color. They were completely professional, fast, and tidy, and the cost was HALF what I was quoted by another highly-regarded painting contractor in the area. I highly recommend them.

They did a fantastic job. The prep work was thorough and meticulous. They power washed, patched and scraped, primed, and put on two finish coats. They even helped me with appropriate color selection. Their work was tidy and meticulous. I LOVED the way my house looked when they were done. The paint job is now four years old and looks as good as new with no sign of deterioration at all. They are A+ first class all the way and I would recommend them to others in a heartbeat.

Their main specialty is specialty interior finishes, specifically, a Venetian wall finish. They also do some exterior painting. They were excellent. They did excellent prep work, which was a key thing. They spent a week doing prep. They washed, power washed with bleach to get any mildew off, scraped, patched and put on primer coat and two finish coats. They were extremely smart. The two guys who do this are basically, artists in their own right; one of them is a cinematographer, named Peter McCannliff, and has one an Emmy, and the other is a documentary photographer. His name is Todd Merrill, and he is the one that mostly did the work. They work with one assistant named Marco. They are tidy and diligent. They are smart. I had an idea of the colors that I wanted, but they helped me pick the right tone. I can't praise them enough as house painters. They were excellent, excellent, excellent painters. Their price was extremely reasonable. I had a price from another company that was more than double their price.

Exterior painting is not one of their specialties but they did a fabulous job. There were two people and both of them are artists. They were smart and professional. They did a very, very high quality prep work and took a lot of time with the prep. They did it right, they did the base coat, primer coat, scrapped and power washed, also helped me pick up a paint. They were fabulous and extremely careful.
