Apparently, new lawn mowers need more maintenance than the old machine I had for years. You have to empty the gasoline out of them every year before storage and also be more careful to clean them. Otherwise, you destroy the carburetor, hich is what happened to me. The folks at U-Save explained the whole situation, told me how to prevent it from happening again, fixed it so that my lawn mower now works perfectly. I was completely satisfied with the service and they were very nice to me as well.
Unfortunately, the repairs cost almost as much as the lawn mower had originally cost me. I don't blame them for that--I'm sure they put in that much labor. And, apparently the routine maintenance I will now need every year will also be expensive. This is apparently just inherent in the design of the new lawn mowers, so I put the blame for that problem on Sears.
