House was sparkling clean....would use again!

Purchased deal for house cleaning services. Did good work.

Average Job. Not much of a break.

They sent out two people who cleaned for about two hours. They cleaned the kitchen, bathroom, living room and two bedrooms in my 900 sqaure foot home. The service overall was average, it wasn’t anything exceptional.

They were just okay.

The 2 woman crew came in and cleaned my house exceptionally well. They brought their own cleaning supplies and my house just sparkled when they were finished!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I put them on so they're coming again this Wednesday night. They come by every week. My wife is the one that really cares with the clean house, she is pretty happy when they leave.

The service was good. It was affordable with the big deal but I think their normal price is expensive.

They did a really good job on the cleaning, except for the window cleaning part

The crew came on time, and began with my specific demands of starting with cleaning the bathrooms. Once they've done that, then they cleaned up the bedrooms (made up the beds like in a hotel - I wasn't expecting that!) and family room and kitchen. 
We communicated on my specifc needs and they performed what we discussed.
I'm happy with the results of the cleaning, as they got so much done in 2 hrs that would've taken me days to do!

Two maids showed up on time and did a very thorough job of cleaning the house in a rapid manner.

They did a very good job. Kitchen stove has never been so clean.

They did wonderful work. I essentially said: "focus on the kitchen, but do whatever needs doing," and came home to a sparkling clean place. I especially appreciate their attention to detail.

The gals did just as asked - vacuum and dust, wipe down kitchen, and clean bathrooms.

The service itself was good.  Everything did go pretty smoothly.  The quality was not quite as good as the last cleaning company I used, but it was a good experience.

I live with three adult men and went off on a vacation by myself.  I
knew when I go back the house would be a total wreck, so I found Maid
Brigade.  I asked them to come the last day of my trip and they finished
an hour or so before I arrived.  It was wonderful walking into a clean
house.  It made my 3-men reunion all the sweeter!  Thank you for a great
job!  Can you come again soon!

I spoke three times with the office in advance of the appointment to confirm what work would and wouldn't be done within the time I paid for.  I specifically discussed the things that were most important. The crew arrived but seemed unsure of the priorities, as if the office had not communicated with them. I spoke to the office to review priorities, but was still concerned when small things were being done (like dusting the seasoning jars in the kitchen and cleaning inside the microwave) but not the stuff I requested.
Towards the end of the appointment (with the apartment more a mess than when the crew arrived), the office called and said there was more work and I'd have to pay extra to complete the job. Classic rip-off! I explained that all they needed to do was complete the work we agreed to. The lady at the office argued that there was no agreement to clean my complete apartment (which I had never requested), and I agreed with this and reminded that they just needed to complete the rooms and work we discussed and agreed to in previous communications. The lady from the office literally hung up on me at this point.
The crew did complete what was agreed.
Overall, the work crew was polite and nice. They did a fair-to-good job.  My apartment was less dirty and dusty and I probably got my $100 worth, but I would not call it a high-quality cleaning job: Areas that had been dusted were still somewhat dusty, some things that were cleaned weren't really all that "clean".
The office/business lady who called saying I needed to pay more, was very rude on the phone. I made sure we discussed ahead of time what would/wouldn't be done to avoid just this problem, but I'm convinced it was their plan all along to call and say "we ran out of time, you need to pay more".  Her hanging up on me - when I never raised my voice and always communicated in a clear an professional manner - was entirely unacceptable.
In summary:
--The cleaning ladies who came out were polite and professional, and did a fairly good job. Not great, but acceptable.
--The business office at Maid Brigade I feel are rip-off artists. I would not use their business and I would not recommend them to others. I hope Angie's List does not offer them as part of a "deal" in the future, as doing so makes Angie's List an accomplice in shady business practices (requesting more money for agreed upon work to be completed).

They cleaned top to bottom, I asked them to focus on the bathrooms and kitchen, but they also vacuumed and dusted the entire house, cleaned windows and straightend the toy room..

The office was very accommodating about scheduling an appointment that fit my needs.  The cleaning team arrived promptly at the scheduled time and stayed for the allotted time.  The cleaning job was just ok.  Everything was cleaned superficially, and they left toothpaste on the bathroom counter.  It was a decent job for the price, but I would be very disappointed if I paid their full price for the job that they did.
