UNLICENSED CONTRACTOR making bids and attempting to obtain work.

Their paint job lasted less than 2 years. We contacted them on the 2nd year, and they sent another crew out who painted some glue-like stuff over the original job and promised us that would do it. It lasted one year. For the last year and a half, I have contacted them over 20 times, and they keep promising to send someone out to re-do the work but never follow through on their promises. They have even had the nerve to tell me I'm now outside their guaranty period, and they have no contractual obligation to do anything!!! Because I hired these people through my church (they advertised in our Sunday bulletin), I kept giving them the benefit of the double and believing their promises. I'm now going to hire someone else and take other action because they've mislead me so badly and for so long. I feel stupid for letting this go on. Never again.
