 + -1 moreexcellent - he is precise, worked as a finish carpenter on restorative victorians so knows how houses work. Unlike other people I have used, he tells you when he is not the right person for a job, but what he does is first rate. He is neat, cleans up after himself, and is able to come up with interesting work arounds, in order to save money, or simply deal with a nonstandard installation. His prices are reasonable and he is extremely honest. In addition to the two jobs mentioned above, I have used him to help with putting up curtain rods, change a light fixture, and other handyman work.
Description of Work: Have used for multiple jobs - he is a finish carpenter but also does handyman work. Most recently: 1. built new floor under sink after previous flooring was warped in a flood 2. fabricated what for want of a better term I will call a kickplate under sink - it was tricky because the dishwasher had to be able to be pulled out and was not even with floor (the above price is for this).
