The whole job went over the estimate by about 30,000 not including extras. We had to have them stop working on the trim and finish that ourselves because we were out of money. The rough carpentry went very well, if over budget. They were fast and responsive. The finish work was poorly done, and we had to have them redo some of the trim. The subcontractor for electrical was inefficient, many outlets are not on straight, a hole was left in one of the walls, and instructions were not followed. The billing process is extremely deceptive. They have a cost plus contract, but attempt to remain within the estimate by charging a category which is going over estimate to another category which is currently under. This makes the bills hard to understand (they may not have worked on a certain category for some time and suddenly there is a charge against it)They also attempt to 'bill out' any category which is under estimate. However when we complained about this they refunded it.

THIS COMPANY HAS TRULY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS, NOT ONLY IN THE QUALITY OF WORK BUT ALSO IN TAKING MY VISION AND IMPROVING ON IT 10 FOLD. WE ARE NOW IN THE MIDST OF PHASE 2 AND I AM STILL IN AWE OF THIS FIRM, THEIR STAFF (INCLUDING THE OFFICE SUPPORT TEAM) AND THEIR WORK.
