Lara and her staff did a fantastic job.  We had to have an aggressive loan contingency period in order to be competitive with other buyers of the home we were bidding on.  The tight time period challenged her and her staff, but they got it done!  Plus, Lara was great in communicating to us what exactly she needed in a timely manner so that there were no hiccups in the process.  While the California loan application process was extremely paperwork intensive and difficult to understand, Lara nevertheless helped us understand the basics of each step.  Most importantly, she helped us get the house we wanted and she helped us steer clear of any obstacles in the loan process!

My wife and I went through Del Sur Mortgage in Napa and their
underwriter was rude, slow at her job and it really felt like she did
not care whether she got us a loan or not.
I say this because
she and the mortgage broker went on vacation while working with us.
Which left us in a holding pattern to make offers on a house.
After
telling our agent about Del Sur ,she set us up with Zak Griffin of La
Salle Finance. Within a few weeks, Zak had us up and running, making
offers on homes and eventually we purchased one. After a month of moving
in and settling down in our home,Del Sur called and wanted to know if
we were still interested in obtaining a loan. After we moved in Zak
called us and wanted to know how our move was.
All we can say is
that Zak is a great guy. He quickly became a friend during our house
hunting. He is quick, personable and went above and beyond for us.

We had met with two other advisors at two different companies, both of whom were ok and pleasant enough. The first one never got back to us, the other once. They just didn't seem that interested in serving us, although at the time, we did not suss this out. We were referred enthusiastically by our agents to Melissa Milton. From the moment we met, she was fully present, informed, prepared, precise, and clear regarding all the financial aspects of securing a loan. Additionally, she is incredibly personable but not overly. We appreciated her warmth and reserve. It took us over 6 months to find our house. In the interim, we made 4 offers, for which Melissa prepared pre-approval letter in very timely way. During this search process, she was very available and responsive, and went out of her way to be ready. Can't say enough about Melissa!
