+ -1 moreI did have a couple of reviews with the building department but ultimately I did get a building permit based upon my drawings.
Description of Work: I needed some plan drawing examples to use as models for my plan drawings. He was very generous in providing me with examples. I was able to model my drawings on the format of the examples he provided.

+ -1 moreOn both projects, Gabriel gave us a hard estimate up front, which turned out to be quite reasonable. We added some scope along the way, and he did a good job giving us prices so we could decide if we did or did not want to add things. His crew did a good job cleaning up each day, which was important since we lived in the house during the remodeling work. For the project overall, he and his crew performed the work in the time-frame we expected. However, we weren't always sure what was going to happen each day, so we probably could have communicated better about that. Overall, we were very happy with the process (from pricing to completion) as well as with the end result.
Description of Work: Gabriel has done extensive remodeling on our home on 2 separate occasions. The first remodel was of an existing bathroom, adding a new bathroom, replacing the water heater and all the water pipes, and creating a few new closets. The second remodel was of the kitchen (which was torn down to the studs and completely rebuilt), adding a new front closet, and patching holes in the wall and hardwood floors where an old heater had been. With both projects, Gabriel has done electrical work (replacing our meter in the process), painting, and hardwood floors. He has also moved walls, and handled appliance, cabinet and fixture installations. We're also really happy with how he matched moldings and other details to make it look "right" in our 1912 Craftsman home. That is true artistry!
