Kelly Maughan Photography

Kelly was just fantastic to work with from start to finish. 
Kelly helped us in the decision of where to have the photos taken, in-home was my preference but I wasn't sure how suitable my home would be given we just had a baby, things around the home are a little more messy than usual.  She suggested a few other locations for us to consider and also reassured me that she could make it work in our home so we went with that.  She was very flexible about scheduling and very responsive on communication via email.
She arrived for our appointment perfectly on time and worked really well with our baby (who was also thankfully pretty cooperative!).
She set up photographs using our couch and a family quilt.  I had some outfits and props I wanted to be used, but wasn't sure how to best set them up but Kelly used them perfectly.  I didn't feel rushed at all and Kelly was relaxing and easy going to work with. 
Kelly worked shooting for approx. 50mins and we got roughly 70 images total. Mostly of just baby as I wanted, but a couple of me and my husband that I decided last minute was worth taking, despite not being sure how I would like how I looked in them (just had a baby and not getting much sleep!)  All the images turned out so fabulously - I'm so pleased.   We will treasure them for years to come.
Kelly edited the images and mailed them to us on a DVD ahead of our agreed upon date, 2 weeks later.  We got them 10 days later! She was even sweet enough to email us a couple of them the day after the shoot as a "sneak peek". 
I'm amazed that the beautiful photos we got were taken in my house with no special lighting/flashes used.  
I love that we got the images on a DVD with permission to get our own prints of them made up and Kelly was also nice enough to grant permission for us to post them online, crediting her of course.  
This year we'll have perfect gifts for grandparents and the most adorable holiday card ever!
I will definitely be using Kelly in the future and recommending her to all I know.
