Her best recommendation was her mortgage lender. She could have been more proactive in identifying properties, I found myself doing more work than her on line, though she was usually available to look at homes once I identified which ones I wanted to visit. Unfortunately, toward the end of the process (very short for us), we sensed she was eager to close. As a result, we aren't sure she properly represented us to the selling agent and acted in our best interest. For example, she said the area we were looking at didn't see new properties much at all. Since we bought the house, we've seen multiple listings every other week. We felt we may have overpaid a bit and could have gotten better conditions in the contract. It was a good commission for not a lot of work on her part. We got the first house we bid on.
