I hired Hannah Kathryn for an interior design project for our new house in San Francisco. This was the strangest and most frustrating experience I've ever had with a professional. Hannah did not complete the contract, exhibited no design vision, stopped communicating for weeks despite attempts to reach out on multiple platforms. Only upon stating we were going to initiate small claims court filing to recoup funds from our unfulfilled contract, we were able to get her to respond and complete close of contract documents and eventually our property (chair for upholstering) and unused funds were returned. The projects she did complete were all behind schedule and overbudget. I also feel that she lied to us multiple times, did not keep proper records (missing receipts), over-invoiced us for work done, failed to order items, and gave recommendations for her work for people who didn't respond to email and had invalid phone numbers. The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and Association of Professional Design firms (APDF) she claimed to be a member of have no record of her membership past or present. I cannot more strongly recommend against hiring Hannah Kathryn for any project large or small.
