Hal Requa is simply the best realtor we encountered in our now multi-year housing search. My fianc?e, who comes from a family of east-coast realtors, thinks he?s the best realtor on the west-coast. Hal is smart, professional, and honest; he is a great negotiator, and he finishes his work quickly. He is a man you can trust with your transaction. We finally closed on a small, < $200K, short-sale condo that took five months to close, but none of that delay came from Hal. Whenever any paperwork arose, Hal would either take care of it himself or immediately bring it to our attention. He provided excellent communication and was always willing to explain unfamiliar concepts. He has experience in all areas of real estate: as a realtor, landlord, and loan officer. His in-depth knowledge of real estate and finance (he?s a CFP) makes him an excellent ally in what can be a byzantine process. He and his colleagues were able to negotiate effectively with CHASE and saved us thousands of dollars, and he recommended excellent inspectors who arrived on-time, completed their inspections quickly, and provided detailed reports. Throughout the entire ordeal, Hal kept us posted on any new news and was always willing to re-show us the property. From our perspective, Hal provided us with an enormous amount of attention and made this process as smooth as it could be.
