Bill was excellent from start to finish. He responded quickly to my call and gave a very fair estimate for the work needed to install recessed lighting in our living room. The job seemed straightforward but was fairly labor intensive. He and his crew worked on the weekend (!) and finished the work quickly. We will use him again for future projects.

Bill was very punctual and professional. He came and gave us input on how to ground our electricity without having to go through the more expensive route. He was very honest - told us what to expect price-wise, especially when permits add up. He had to remove a couple pieces of walls in our kitchen, and didn't do the shear wall later because that would've added a lot more labor cost to us. He helped us think about where we would want our new panel given our space limitation, and was very prompt in doing this job. The couple complaints we have were that he had other bigger jobs waiting for him, so he would have to leave and come back to finish up some work and the permitting process. (But he also had to wait for the city inspectors to show up late each time they were scheduled to come, so we can see how much he had to juggle.) Unfortunately, we had additional work that had to be done a few weeks later and he couldn't do them due to his tight schedule. We would've liked for him to go through the whole process since he knew the house well by that point.

Bill came out within one day of calling for an estimate. The other electricians I had come out seemed more interested in finding out how many outlets, switches, and lights I wanted per room. Bill on the other hand, was more concerned about understanding the overall scope of what I wanted. I chose Bill since he struck me as someone that would work with me and find solutions. Once the job started, Bill constantly impressed me by the speed that he worked, his knowledge of the electrical codes, and his ability to find solutions to problems that occur once you open the walls. He always kept me apprised of any problems that came up, if my layouts did not meet code, or if he thought that a some placements were bad. He has integrity. Once, he accidentally drilled too far and drilled through the siding. He told me what happened right away and offered to fix the it. All the other trades that came on site all mentioned about the quality of the electrical work.
